Tuan Wee Choo Keong [Wangsa Maju] minta Menteri Pengangkutan menyatakan semua nama syarikat-syarikat yang mengambil bahagian dalam tender untuk projek extension LCCT berjumlah RM123.9 juta dan harga tender masing-masing, jikalau Fajarbaru Builder Group Bhd yang berhubung dengan Syarikat Pembinaan Fajar Baru (Rembau) Sdn Bhd dipilih dengan harga tender bukan yang terrendah sila berikan alas an kenapa ia dipilih dan apakah later belakangnya.

Berdasarkan kepada tawaran harga di atas, didapati Syarikat Pembinaan Fajar Baru (Rembau) Sdn Bhd (sekarang dinampakkan Fajar Baru Builders Sdn Bhd) telah menawarkan harga ketiga terendah iaitu sebanyak RM86,563,800-00 berbanding dengan tawaran harga yang dikemukan oleh peneder No: 3 di atas dan No, 4 di atas.  Lembaga Perolehan, Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB) yang bertangungjawap dalam pemilihan tender ini telah memilih Syarikat Fajar Baru Builder Sdn Bhd berdasarkan kepada criteria berikut:

i.    Syarikat ini telah mengemukakan cadangan yang lengkap berbanding dengan penender lain.  Cadangan syarikat ini juga disokong dengan pengiraan dan permarkahan mudah untuk dinilai;

ii.   Syarikat ini mempunyai pengalaman dalam bidang pembinaan lapangan terbang dan telah Berjaya menyiapkan Fasa 1, Projek LCCT KLIA;

iii.  Syarikat mempunyai pengurusan dan peralatan yagn lengkap;

iv.  Peneder ini sahaja yang telah melepasi markah lulus dalam penilaian teknikal; dan

v.   Syarikat ini mempunyai kedudukan kewangan yang kukuh.

Note:

It is a fact that in 2004 Syarikat Fajar Builders Sdn Bhd had no experience whatsoever in building airports and yet it was given the contract to build LCCT costing almost RM90 million. Incidentally, KLIA had been under utilized and still is until this present day and yet Badawi government saw it fit to specially built LCCT for AirAsia.  Why so special?

Early this year Syarikat Fajar Builder Sdn Bhd was again selected (not based on the lowest tender price) to build an extension for LCCT costing RM123.9 million.

Todate the LCCT had cost the rakyat more than RM200 million (RM90 million plus RM123.9 ,million).

In the light of the Government having already built LCCT/LCCT Extension for AirAsia, now suddenly the Malaysia government has approved plans by budget carrier AirAsia and conglomerate Sime Darby to build a new low cost terminal within reach of the capital, according to media reports. The new terminal, to be called “KLIA East @ Labu”, will be built on a 2,800 hectare site (6,919 acres) in the central state of Negri Sembilan under a private finance initiative, costing RM1.6 billion (US$461 million), the New Straits Times reported.

Food for thoughts:

AirAsia had announced that it had placed an order for 150 Airbuses and it had to take delivery of one Airbus per month. After taking delivery of 150 Airbuses, I am sure that AirAsia will certainly go places!

Recently AirAsia had also announced that it intended to go on a privatization exercise but the plan was shelved because AirAsia could not get a financier. Then it suddenly announced that it had suffered about RM460 million losses.

On 21 December 2008, it was announced that the Badawi’s government had approved a new LCCT costing RM1.6 billion to be built in Negeri Sembilan. As long as no rakyat’s money will be used to build this new LCCT I don’t really care. Provided that AirAsia/Sime Darby will also pay for the land cost to build the new LCCT!

Of late, I do not understand why EPF is investing very heavily in AirAsia’s shares when AirAsia’s foreign shareholders have disposed their stakes. Perhaps Tan Sri Nor Yakop (Deputy Minister of Finance II) can shed some light in this matter!!!

Well, whatever happens, there must be NO BAIL OUT for any private company whether it is AirAsia or any other.

Untuk kita fikir sejenak:

AirAsia telah mengumumkan bahawa ia telah memesan 150 pesawat jenis Airbuses dan menerima satu Airbus setiap bulan. Setelah menerima kesemua pesawat tersebut, saya pasti AirAsia akan jade masyhur (sinis)!

Baru-baru ini AirAsia juga mengumumkan kemungkinan dimiliki persendirian tetapi rancangan ini telah dibatalkan kerana tiada penaja kewangan. Tiba-tiba pula ia mengumumkan bahawa ia mengalami kerugian kewangan RM460juta pula.

Pada 21 Disember 2008, terdapat suatu pengumuman bahawa pentadbiran Badawi meluluskan pembinaan suatu lapangan terbang murahan (LCCT) memakan belanja RM1.6 juta (nota penterjemah, kos rendah untuk pemungut cukai, belanja tahap luar fikiran bagi rakyat jelata)akan dibina di Negeri Sembilan. Selagi bukan want rakyat dibelanjakan saya tidak pedulli, dengan syarat AirAsia/Sime Darby juga bayar harga tanah itu.

Baru-baru ini, saya tidak faham mengapa EPF/ KWSP banyak melabur di saham AirAsia apabila pemegang saham asing mejualkan ppegangan mereka. Mungkin Tan Sri Nor Yakop (Naib Menteri Kewangan II) boleh memberi penjelasan!!!

Walau macam manapun, kita mesti menentukan bahawa TIADA PERBUATAN MENYELAMATKAN mana-mana syarikat milikan swasta sama ada ianya AirAsia atau mana-mana pihak.
