Visit to Poling Keong Temple in Setapak

Melawat Tokong Poling Keong di Setapak

Earlier this Sunday afternoon, 29 March 2009, I was invited by the management committee of the Poling Keong Temple in Setapak, Wangsa Maju, to attend the birthday celebration of “Yen Tean Seong Teh” at the temple.  This is an annual celebration and will last for a week beginning today. About 1,500 needy rakyat of all races came for the occasion and collected ang pow, rice and other food stuffs.

Pada tengah hari Ahad lalu, 29 March 2009, saya telah dijemput oleh jawatankuasa pengurusan Tokong Poling Keong di Setapak, Wangsa Maju, untuk menghadiri perayaan hari kelahiran “Yen Tean Seong Teh” di tokong tersebut.  Ini adalah perayaan tahunan dan berlangsung selama seminggu mulai hari Ahad. Seramai 1,500 rakyat pelbagai kaum yang memerlukan pertolongan telah tampil mendapatkan sumbangan derma ang pow, beras dan bekalan makanan.
