The convincing outcome of the recent Permatang Pauh by-election had confirmed once and for all that the rakyat were not as dumb as some of our most out-of-touch and out-of-date politicians would like us to believe.
My quick take on the 2009 Budget is that it is a non-Budget.

Everyone can see that the Permatang Pauh by-election is unlike any other by-election. It is the mother of all by-elections for the simple reason that BN is adamant about going all out to deny Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim his rightful place in Parliament and ultimately his passage to Putrajaya.
