On 17 March 2018 The Guardian newspaper of UK reported that “50 million Facebook profile harvested for Cambridge Analytica (hereinafter referred to as “CA”) in major data breach. The data analytics firm that worked with Donald Trump’s election team harvested millions of Facebook profiles of the US voters and used millions of Facebook profiles of the UK voters to win the Brexit Campaign. Now Everyone Can Know The Truth – On 6 March, 2018, the KL High Court finds that AirAsia has failed to prove its claim and the article complained of in this blog was true or substantially true. The said defamation suit was dismissed with cost of RM50,000.00.
