Yet another Bill tabled, Parliament used as "rubberstamp"

This morning the government saw it fit to table a new Bill known as “Ruang Undang-undang Perlindungan Saksi 2008” (Witness Protection Bill 2008). I don’t understand why there is such a rush to table such an important Bill without giving MPs sufficient time to prepare for the debate.

It seems the Government under Badawi is using Parliament as a “rubberstamp” for his ill-thought-out policies.
