‘Captain’ Loke to Tower: Mayday! Mayday! Mayday! My ‘flight’ is destined to crash on 1 October, 2019!
Tower Controller: Huh! Another false alarm from you, the super powerful ‘Captain’ Loke?
‘Captain’ Loke: Tomorrow I’m supposed to implement the ‘Captain’ Loke “Shiok Sendiri Special” for AirAdsia, the RM23 PSC reduction. If I cannot honour my promise for my close friend, I will be in deep trouble!
Tower Controller: Hmm …! With your super power, the Ministry Of Transport (MOT) legal advisor and KSU at your disposal, they ought to have advised you that you have zero power to revise the PSC. Please read in HERE.
‘Captain’ Loke: Instead of MAHB and MAVCOM following my order, they kept throwing the MAVCOM Act 2015 at me!
Please read Tower to ‘Captain’ Loke; You ‘re Loke-ing In The Wrong Way! & Captain Loke’s Distress Call!!
Well the above will be the sorry state of affairs for the eager beaver ‘Captain’ Loke. Even if MAVCOM were to agree to the RM23 PSC reduction to kowtow to ‘Captain’ Loke, the revised PSC cannot be implemented as he desired by 1 October.
Last week AirAsia had started to implement the ‘Captain’ Loke’s “Shiok Sendiri Special” RM23 PSC reduction. Today AirAsia has issue a statement that it will proceed to implement ‘Captain’ Loke’s Shiok Sendirti Special” RM23 PSC reduction even without it being gazetted by MAVCOM. However, other airlines refused to implement it as it is not lawful. It will be interesting time ahead. Soon there might be another law suit filed by MAHB against AirAsia to recover the RM23.
Perhaps it is timely for “Captain’ Loke to deflate his ego and take the honourable step to admit his grave mistake for jumping the gun and withdraw his ill- thought out decision on the ‘Captain’ Loke‘s “Shiok Sendiri Special”.
Lets see how ‘Captain’ Loke is going to avoid the crash. Let’s pray that this young boy will learn his bitter lesson and realise that while he may be on a pedestal as minister of transport, the law is above him!
