Yours truly hopes that the Year of the Horse will bring all of us peace, good health, happiness and prosperity. Let us all Malaysians gallop into the Year of the Horse with greater sense of nation building and less politicking.
Whilst we are celebrating this Chinese New Year or enjoying our holidays, we will, no doubt, be bombarded with the debate on someone latest senseless political manoeuvres which have caused the vacancy of the Kajang State Assembly Seat and he is hoping to be installed as the new MB for Selangor after the by-election. Does the nation deserve such constant politicking when there are more urgent matters in country that had to be addressed like our economy, security, the burning issue of the word “Allah” and race relation?
Together we can gallop into the Year of the Horse with a sincere sense of nation building, by not allowing the sentiment or hatred, which have been sowed for the past few years, to mar what we have achieved to live in harmony.
Let the spirit of nation building to major the will of all Malaysians to stop the senseless politickings in the country for the selfish political agendas of “Putrajaya At All Costs”.
Let us enjoy the Kajang “Satay-ed” when it comes.
For those who are driving home for the traditional reunion dinner or “balik kampung” trip, please drive safely – “berhati-hati di jalan raya”.
“Xi Nien Kuai-Le” to all Malaysian Chinese and happy holidays to all other Malaysians.
