The press conference will be held on 09 – 03 – 2013 (Saturday) at 11:30 a.m. in Block C. Owners/residents are welcomed to attend this press conference. Thank you
The management company of Danau Kota Flats, off Jalan Kelang, is Danau Kota Management Services Sdn Bhd (Danau Kota Management). Its appointment as the management company was unclear until now. Yours truly has been informed that Danau Kota Management was never officially appointed by the JMBs of Danau Kota Flats. Mr David Lim Kok Chu, who is known to have a close connection to Datuk Yew Teong Look, who is YB Datuk Liow Tiong Lai’s “winnable candidate”.
Background of Mr David Lim Kok Chu
It was reported in the press on 17-3-2013 that the so-called “Coalition of 120 NGOs” presented a Memorandum to YB Datuk Liow Tiong Lai (YB Datuk Liow) , Deputy President of MCA, Minister of Health demanding for Datuk Yew Teong Look to be chosen as the BN candidate for Wangsa Maju for the 13th General Elections. Upon receipt of the said Memorandum, YB Datuk Liow declared that Wangsa Maju Constituency belongs to MCA and Datuk Yew Teong Look was a “winnable” candidate. Please read “YB Datuk Liow Tiong Lai assisted in deceiving the rakyat”.
It was not at a surprise at all for YB Datuk Liow to have made the above declaration for he and Datuk Yew Teong Look are in the camp of YB Datuk Ong Ka Ting. By right such declaration or announcement should have been made by Datuk Tan Chai Ho, the chairman of Wilayah MCA, who was also present when the said Memorandum was presented.
The said Memorandum from the so-called “120 Coalition of NGOs”, of which 73 were unregistered societies, was seen by many quarters as to exert pressures on the BN Chairman, YAB Datuk Seri Najib bin Tun Abdul Razak, to pick YB Liow Tiong Lai’s crony, Datuk Yew Tiong Look, as the BN “winnable” candidate for Wangsa Maju Parliamentary Constituency. Of course, Datuk Yew Teong Look is definitely the most “winnable candidate” of all the leaders of MCA and his service records will speak for itself!
During the launching of the self style “Coalition of 120 NGOs”, Mr David Lim Kok Chu of Danau Kota Management was appointed to the EXCO of the said “Coalition of 120 NGOs” and he is holding the post of “Ketua Biro Sukan & Kebudayaan”.
From the look of Mr David Lim Kok Chu he is very atheletic inclined and sport man liked, and cultured too. It was very appropriate that he heads the “Biro Sukan & Kebudayaan”.
Mr Lim Kok Chu is the chairman of a NGO known as “Danau Kota Flats Parcel 2 JMB”, which is one of the 73 unregistered societies. It is extremely strange and a clear case of conflict of interest that Mr David Lim Kok Chu who is the manager of the Danau Kota Management and at the same time is holding the post of chairman of “Danau Kota Flats Parcel 2 JMB”. Accordingly to the Registrar of Societies it is non-existent, in HERE.
Yours truly will publish a separate posting on the full list of EXCO committee members of the so-called “Coalition of 120 NGOs” which consists of one famous corporate personality whose company is may be connected to one of the projects in Iskandar Malaysia Project in Johor and several personalities closely connected to Datuk Yew Teong Look or his MCA outfits in Wangsa Maju .
Yours truly is sorry to digress a little for without a clear understanding of the above background, one may face some difficulties to understand how could such problems happened to the Danau Kota Flats.
MALFUNCTION OF TWO OF THE THREE LIFTS IN BLOCK C
Yours truly has received many complaint from the owners/residents of Block C that two of the three lifts have been spoilt for many months. A few months ago, initially Mr David Lim Kok Chu, as the manager of Danau Kota Management, had collected RM500.00 from some of the owners/residents of Block C for installing a new lift. After the owners/residents have staged a protest, Mr David Lim Kok Chu reduced the charges from RM500 to RM320. An immediate discount of RM180.00!
There are 432 units of flat in Block C. If one take the charges of RM500 per unit, the total collection would have been RM216, 432.00. With the discount of RM180.00 the total collection would be RM138, 240.00, an immediate total reduction of RM77, 760.00, which represents more than a 35% discount!
If RM216, 432.00 is the total cost of the lift, how could Mr David Lim Kok Chu and/or Danau Kota Management reduce it by RM77, 760.00. Mr David Lim Kok Chu must account for the collection of the RM500 and/or RM320.00 from the owners/residents and make it known to the owners/residents of Block C what is the actual cost of the lift.
On behalf of the owners/residents of Danau Kota Flats, on 1-3-2013 yours truly has written a letter to Mr David Lim Kok Chu asking him when Danau Kota Management is going to settle the TNB and Syabas outstanding debts of RM674, 009.35 and to provide all the audited accounts for Block A, B, C, D and E. Although the owners/residents have paid for their water bill, there is still a debt of RM190,619.85.
Up to this date, Mr David Lim Kok Chu didn’t bother to provide answers to the questions raised in the said letter of yours truly.
Please see below for the letter dated 1-3-2013:
