Danau Kota Management must settle the debt of RM483,389.50 by today otherwise TNB will terminate electricity supply tomorrow

Posted on March 18, 2013
David Lim Kok Chu explained about the TNB's debt
On 19-3-2013 at about 11:30 am Mr David Lim Kok Chu accompanied by the taxi driver, shareholder & director of Danau Kota Management, Tan Seng Kee, (seated on the right of Mr David Lim Kok Chu) explaining his problems in managing Danau Kota Flats to Yg Bhg Dato’ Ir Lim Yew Soon, the GM of TNB KL & yours truly.

Updates at 3:30 pm on 19-3-2013:  Yg Bhg Dato’ Ir Lim Yew Soon, GM of TNB KL together with his officers including  En Mohd Ainuddin bin MD Khairuddin, TNB Area Manager (East) , came to have a meeting with the owners of Danau Kota Flats , Mr David Lim Kok Chu of Danau Kota Management Services Sdn Bhd and yours truly.  Mr David Lim Kok Chu presented TNB with three posted cheques to settle the current debts from January to March 2013.  The remaining debts to be settled by the existing installment plan. Based on the cheques are good for payment when they are due, Danau Kota Management would have settled a big chunk of its debts. As a result of the handing over of the said three cheques and the plea by yours truly, TNB kindly agreed not to terminate the electricity supply. The owners of Danau Kota Flats were happy that Danau Kota Management handed over the three  posted cheques to TNB.

On behalf of the owners of Danau Kota Flats, yours truly would like to say to thank you to Yg Bhg Dato’ Ir Lim Yew Soon and his officers for coming over to Danau Kota Flats to solve the problem. Now we have to solve the Syabas debt of RM190, 619.85. Yours truly believes that the Syabas debt can also be solved amicably soon.  It was an amicable meeting except the disgusting and hooligan behaviour of Mr Tan Seng Kee, the taxi driver, shareholder and director of Danau Kota Management Services Sdn Bhd.  Credit must be given to Mr David Lim  Kok Chu who apologises on his behalf and openly  reprimanded him.

Yours truly has been informed by reliable source within Danau Kota management Services Sdn Bhd that TNB has issued a notice of demand to Danau Kota Management Services Sdn Bhd (Danau Kota Management), which has taken over the management of Danau Kota Flats since 2006, to pay up the total debt of RM483,389.50 owed to TNB failing which TNB will be compelled to terminate the electricity supply by tomorrow (19-3-2013). Re TNB’s debt of RM483,389.50 read HERE.

Danau Kota Management and/or Mr David Lim Kok Chu, who is the manager of Danau Kota Management and also chairman of JMB of Danau Kota Flats Parcel 2 must be fully aware of the said notice from TNB. It is hoped that Mr David Lim Kok Chu will ensure that Danau Kota Management has fully settled the said debts well before tomorrow in order to avoid all the inconveniences caused to the 1,914 owners and/or residents of Danau Kota otherwise the termination of the electricity supply due to non-payment of the said electricity charges is eminent.

Yours truly has been informed that as of this late afternoon Mr David Lee Kok Chu has not caused Danau Kota Management to settle the said debt in full to TNB. It would appear that the termination of electricity supply to Danau Kota Flats on 19-3-2013 could not be avoided.

Background of Mr David Lim Kok Chu

Mr David Lim Kok Chu is also the appointed “Ketua Biro Sukan dan Budaya” of the so-called “Coalition of 120 NGOs” which was set up by Datuk Yew Teong Look on 13 December 2012. The service center of Datuk Yew Teong Look was also included as one of the NGOs and his personal assistant, Mr Lim Choon Hong, is the chairman of this “NGO”/Service Center. Of course, this “NGO” was non-existence. On top of that 73 of the so-called 120 NGOs were also unregistered societies, which were non-existence under the law.

The owners/residents should approach Mr David Lim Kok Chu and/or Mr Tan Seng Kee, who is the staff , also director and shareholder of Danau Kota Management, to check whether the total outstanding debt of RM483,389.50 has been settled with TNB in order to avoid the termination of the electricity supply to Danau Kota Flats on 19-3-2013 (tomorrow).

Danau Kota Management/Mr David Lim Kok Chu and/or Mr Tan Seng Kee must take full responsibility in the event that the electricity supply to Danau Kota Flats is terminated tomorrow for non-payment of electricity supply in the sum of RM483,389.50.

This is one of the examples of how unregistered property managers are doing professional job unprofessionally. When we made a query on their qualifications, they scold thr ptofessionals. When the professional property managers do good job they reply that they can do better onlow fee. Malaysians have been cheated all the way by so called unregistered property managers who championed themselves as the right persons to manage.

It was a good thing that the Danau Kota Management has made arrangement to settle the debt with TNB. The owners of Danau Kota Flats are mainly low income group. They will not be able to afford to pay if the management is unable to pay it. TNB should not have allowed the management to owe so much in the first place.
