Oh! AirAsia, AirAsia, AirAsia. Saya kena sebut AirAsia ini. Sekejap ya. MAS dan AirAsia. Ini penting. Saya kira saya kena jawablah ini. Beberapa Ahli Yang Berhormat, Wangsa Maju, Kinabatangan, Batang Sadong, Kuala Langat telah menimbulkan isu MAS dan AirAsia. Kalau izin saya ambil masa sedikit saya bagi gambaran umum dahulu bahawa…
Timbalan Yang di-Pertua [Datuk Dr. Wan Junaidi bin Tuanku Jaafar]: Yang Berhormat tunggu sekejap ya. Saya minta Yang Berhormat dengar Yang Berhormat Timbalan Menteri. Soalan ini penting Yang Berhormat ya. Dengar jawapan Yang Berhormat Timbalan Menteri, apa yang kurang tepat, yang belum jelas kepada Yang Berhormat, selepas itu baru menyoal. Yang Berhormat.
Datuk Dr. Awang Adek Hussein: Ini penting. Ini soal penting jadi kita berilah masa sedikit. Minta maaf ya Yang Berhormat. Jadi untuk makluman Yang Berhormat, Rangka Kerja Kolaborasi Komprehensif (CCF) yang melibatkan Malaysian Airlines, AirAsia dan AirAsia X adalah bertujuan untuk meneroka peluang kerjasamadalam pelbagai bidang dan menyelaraskan kepentingan ekonomi, aligning economic interest syarikat-syarikat dan juga pemegang saham syarikat. Maknanya dia ada dua iaitu economy interest dan cross- shareholding. Bermakna pemilik AirAsia umpamanya ada kepentingan untuk melihat MAS juga berjaya kerana dia ada kepentingan. melihat AirAsia juga berjaya kerana ia ada share dalam AirAsia. Ini yang dimaksudkan dengan aligning economic interest.
Bagi memastikan kedua-dua pihak lebih komited pertukaran saham antara Khazanah dan Tune Air Sdn. Bhd., pemegang saham utama AirAsia adalah untuk memastikan kedua-dua pihak lebih komited. Kerjasama MAS dan AirAsia dijangka dapat memperbaiki kedudukan kewangan MAS di samping memastikan operasi kedua-dua syarikat terutamanya MAS dilaksanakan secara cost efficient. Okey, jadi apa cara hendak mengurangkan kos? Umpamanya dari segi join procurement kah, latihan bersama kah, penyelarasan semula laluan umpamanyaAirAsia sudah tidak mahu lagi sudah pergi London dan yang untungnya diharapkan MAS. Jadi MAS sahaja yang pergi ke London. Jadi ini adalah di antara langkah- langkah yang boleh. Jadi kalau procurement dengan jumlah yang lebih banyak diharapkan lebih murah.

Datuk Dr. Awang Adek Hussein: Begitu juga dengan… Tunggu sekejap Yang Berhormat. Tunggu sekejap ya. Bagi saya satu round selepas itu Yang Berhormat tanya. Begitu juga dengan catering dan sebagainya makanan. Jadi niatnya begitu tetapi memang ada masalah. Memang terdapat masalah dari segi pekerja, union tidak puas hati, dari segi persepsi adakah ini adil ataupun berat sebelah. Memang ada dan saya sendiri sudah berjumpa dengan union, saya sendiri sudah berjumpa dengan pengurusan kanan dan setengah-setengah Ahli Yang Berhormat juga telah berjumpa dan mendapat taklimat daripada MAS, Khazanah. Kita tahu bahawa mereka menyatakan kesediaan untuk memastikan matlamat ini dicapai. Tidak ada soal satu parti mendapat faedah yang lebih daripada yang lain. Kepentingan pekerja akan dijaga.
Umpamanya, MAS sudah pun menandatanganiCollective Agreement (CA) dengan union dan menaikkan 5% walaupun dalam keadaan ia rugi. Naik! Kalau dahulu ada cadangan untuk membawa pekerja MAS, steward, stewardess hendak beri kepada airline yang lain, ada yang tidak puas hati. Maka sekarang ini diberi melalui skim sukarela, siapa yang hendak pergi. Umpamanya, ada yang masih lagi bujang. Dia don’t mind pergi ke Emirates kah. Sukarela. Jadi ini yang dibuat hari ini. Jadi union pun rasa okey, dia rasa dia boleh terima. CA pun sudah sain. Cuma yang pentingnya kita mahu pastikan supayamatlamat yang CCF ini dan persepsi – ada juga persepsi bahawa kakitangan senior management dari AirAsia sudah masuk MAS.
Sebenarnya, saya berbincang dengan pengurusan MAS. Dia kata tidak betul, memang ada bekas atau ex tetapi dahulu dia ex-MAS. Dia rasa dia tidak puas hati di MAS. Dia dapat tawaran yang lebih baik di AirAsia, dia pergi. Kemudian hari ini, dia dipujuk balik oleh MAS kerana dia ini bagus, yang menjaga engineering. Memang CEO MAS pun kata dia ini bagus. Maka kita pun panggil balik. Dia pun kata dia ini berjiwa MAS. Sudah lama dengan MAS tetapi

oleh kerana dia tidak puas hati, mungkin management dahulu tidak berapa layan dia, dia keluar. Sekarang ini dia hendak balik semula dia kata.
Jadi setengah-setengah apabila kita lihat bahawa dia dahulu dari AirAsia adakah ini satu usaha baru untuk membudaya ataupun menguasai. Jadi ini yang secara umumnya saya hendak cakap kalau dahulu ada masalah union, pekerja,saya rasa masalah ini sudah pun di contain kandengan izin. Terima kasih Yang Berhormat. Sila.
Tuan Wee Choo Keong [Wangsa Maju]: Terima kasih Yang Berhormat Timbalan Menteri dan juga terima kasih kepada Tuan Yang di-Pertua. Saya amat tertariklah dengan jawapan Yang Berhormat Timbalan Menteri. Yang Berhormat Timbalan Menteri juga merujuk kepada sesi taklimat antara MAS dengan Ahli-ahli Parlimen baru-baru ini pada 26 Mac dan juga mengenai dengan Collective Agreement (CA) Yang Berhormat Timbalan Menteri menyatakan oleh pengurusan MAS.

Wah, ini satu yang bagus telah ditandatangani oleh union dengan 5% increment dari segi salary dan juga AirAsia X telah batalkan flight untuk MAS Catering hendak join procurement dan ex MAS pekerja telah diambil kembali di MAS. Satu demi satu kita cakap hari ini.
Yang Berhormat tahu atau tidak ataupun sedar atau tidak bahawa yang pertama CA itu telah ditandatangani oleh seorang, dua orang pemimpin MAS di MASEUS khasnya Encik Malik dan pekerja MAS sekarang telah menyoal perkara ini. Bukan satu CA yang telah diputuskan oleh AGM ataupun oleh Exco MAS iaitu MASEUS. Dan juga untuk memanjangkan lanjutan masa dua tahun lagi untuk pekerja MAS sebab Malik itu sudah hendak habis 58. So, dapat pula dua tahun lagi. Semua yang saya dengar semua kena telan ‘sleeping pill’. Sleeping pill ini adalah rasuah oleh MAS diberi kontrak oleh MAS seperti cleaning contract dalam MAS kepada mereka. Sebab itulah mereka kena tunduk kepala dengan menurut MAS. Apa pun bersama MAS. So, CA forget about it.
Yang kedua, di sesi taklimat hari itu dan juga pagi ini MAS juga ada satu town hall meeting di MAS. Yang datang adalah siapa? Tan Sri Md. Nor, Ahmad Jauhari Yahya (MD) dan kroni UMNO iaitu Azman Mokhtar dari Khazanah. Di sana beliau menyatakan Tan Sri Md. Nor, “oh no problem the blessing of the MP. They’re all very happy with the business plan of MAS. Yang 26 ini di Parlimen dan kita semua ada di sana dan beliau menyatakan apa Tan Sri Md. Nor ini menyatakan bahawa Ahli Yang Berhormat Kinabatangan menyatakan I salute you AJ. Saya ada di sana, Yang Berhormat yang lain pun ada di sana. Kita tidak dengar pun Yang Berhormat Kinabatangan menyatakan demikian. Padahalnya Yang Berhormat Kinabatangan mengatakan semua ini perompak dan perlu dimasukkan dalam penjara dan panggil initial swap ini berat sebelah sahaja. Untuk semata-mata menyelamatkan AirAsia bukan MAS. Itu satu lie.

Yang kedua, soal katering. MAS Catering kita tanya mereka tidak berani hendak jawab. Kontrak yang berat sebelah 25 tahun yang ditandatangani oleh Tan Sri Md. Nor himself pada tahun 2002 dan pada masa itu siapa yang menjadi konsultan? BinaFikir Sdn. Bhd. Ini satu konsultan yang bina tidak fikir. Siapa partner dia? Rashdan dan Azman Mokhtar. Itu kontrak yang berat sebelah. Buat siasatan Yang Berhormat Timbalan Menteri.
Kedua, Rashdan menyatakan pagi ini juga depan pekerja semua, bukan pekerja, heads of department di town hall meeting bahawa dia tidak upgrade. Sebab saya ada tulis dalam blog bahawa beliau telah upgrade maidnya daripada ekonomi dengan bayinya ke first class kabin pada 1 Januari 2012 sedangkan polisi dan regulasi MAS tidak boleh ada baby atau bayi dalam first class cabin. Beliau menyatakan apa yang ditulis dalam Malaysia family, dalam blog saya weechookeong dan jebat must die semua ini fitnah, defer mystery.
Nanti saya hendak memetik report daripada MAS sendiri untuk Yang Berhormat Timbalan Menteri membuat siasatan sama ada ini benar atau tidak?Report ini mengenai dengan 1st January MH122 Sydney–Kuala Lumpur. IFS Joyce Tan. Mungkin Chief Stewardess upgrade E bahawa Captain Mohd Yunus Ibrahim dan saya petik, Group CEO, Encik Mohammed Rashdan Mohd Yusof also known as Danny, was with his family in first class sit 4A, 4K, 3ADG. Mr. Hii seorang penumpang pembayar sit 2K was asking CSS Suzana and CIC on ground whether we could upgrade his two daughters from EY to first class? Ini Mr. Hii yang minta.
We told him sorry, he was unhappy. He knew there were two vacant seats i.e. 4D and G, but saw it was occupied. Both seats were occupied by Captain Zulkifli Ahmad and his wife and eight years old son from seats 60 FG. Both Captain agreed to the upgrade and told IFS if possible to put them in first class or GCC together as son cannot be separated. Hence, they were seated at 4DG until landing. Mr. Hii didn’t mention anything more. Ini yang penting.
Our Group CEO, Danny upgraded his nanny from economy class to first class without informing us as his little son had to be carried all the time and Danny’s wife had to ensure that her son is fed. Lots of stress and commotion whereby Danny son from economy class was screaming in first class. This woke up Mr. Hii when he was napping. He then asked CIC (Chief Steward In charge) whether infants are allowed in first class? The Chief Steward just smiled and said yes. Then informed Danny about Mr. Hii reaction and he noted. His wife sit 3A was also noted but they continued to sit in first class until landing.
So, siapa yang bohong. Danny ataupun report ini? Kalau hendak saya tunjuk naskhah saya boleh kasi dan saya telah post dalam blog lima minit tadi. So, ini adalah pengurusan yang tidak berwibawa. Pengurusan pembohong, pengkhianat, perompak hendak menjejaskan lambang negara di MAS itu. MAS ini bukan satu syarikat yang biasa. Syarikat yang boleh dikatakan our country icon dengan izin.

Timbalan Yang di-Pertua [Datuk Dr. Wan Junaidi bin Tuanku Jaafar]: Fakta sudah bagi Yang Berhormat. Ini emotional argument tidak perlulah Yang Berhormat.
Tuan Wee Choo Keong [Wangsa Maju]: No, sedikit lagi saya hendak tanya. Yang Berhormat sedar atau tidak sebab yang tadi itu satu point ini Yang Berhormat Timbalan Menteri mengatakan semua pekerja yang diambil balik kerja di MAS adalah ex-MAS. Saya rasa satu orang sahaja ex-MAS. Kebanyakan semua AirAsia.
Pertama, sebelum itu pada Oktober 2011 bahawa Rashdan melantik satu konsultan yang bernama PlaneConsult. Ini adalah satu syarikat mat saleh yang MDnya Conor McCarthy dan dia ini adalah seorang director dan co founder of AirAsia. Sekarang masih director melantik untuk buat review.

Pada 4 Januari 2012, mereka telah dilantik dengan rasmi syarikat ini menjadi consultant. Saya ada dokumen di sini kalau hendak cabar kata tidak benar. Ini surat perjanjian di sini dan di sini yang penting adalah under methods of working saya hendak petik di sini, ‘An number of local individuals have been identified and recommended as suitable to assume permanent role within the restructured MAS’. Ini saya percaya bahawa orang-orang, pegawai- pegawai yang telah dilantik baru-baru ini daripada AirAsia adalah di bawah rekomendasi PlaneConsult ini.
Pertama,Rozman Omar, dia bukan dari MAS jadi CFO daripada AirAsia masuk ke dalam MAS jadi CFO. Kedua,Azhari Dhallan. Okey dulu daripada MAS itu saya percaya, saya terima tetapi di MAS Engineering itu semua key post dan acting commercial director, siapa? Shane Nollan daripada mana PlaneConsult. Saya tidak pernah dengar lagi di mana pegawai daripada consultant dilantik diberi kuasa eksekutif dalam satu syarikat ‘Perlembagaan Negara’. Tidak adakah orang yang lain dalam MAS yang lebih baik, yang ada penuh dengan pengalaman untuk menjalankan tugas commercial director?
Dan juga Yang Berhormat pun ada menyatakan tadi mengenai dengan cancellation of flight untuk MAS pergi ke London. Itu semua tidak benar. Yang Berhormat sila buat siasatan. Jangan buta tuli dan janganlah hendak dengar sahaja dari sebelah. Buat satu siasatan yang mendalam mengenai dengan cancellation of flight ke London di bawah AirAsia X kerana mereka sudah teruk, mereka sudah hendak tumbang sudah. Bukan soal fuel increase. Semua airline pun kena fuel increase. Adakah airline yang pergi ke London atau gunakan low cost fuel, tidak ada. Fuel sama juga. Akan tetapi yang pentingnya yang baru-baru ini bukan 30 passenger.

Dia kata tadi 30,000 orang penumpang yang MAS perlu uplift itu tidak benar. 35,000 dan sekarang yang telah dibayar kepada MAS baru sahaja yang dibayar kepada MAS baru RM20 juta tetapi yang kita tahu bahawa mereka perlu bayar sekurang-kurangnya RM50 juta. Ini based on the rate that may charge on the fare that incharge. Rate has been incharged for London for example dengan izin, dari London ke Kuala Lumpur, Kuala Lumpur ke London kata one way dia caj RM1,200. Two way RM2,400. MAS punya fare RM3,000 lebih itu sudah ada discount. Buat satu siasatan dan biasa MAS punya polisi dan regulasinya adalah dalam keadaan yang demikian untuk uplift mereka penumpang yang ada airline. Kita berterima kasihlah kerana bagi pandangan. Jadi kita terima. Cuma yang saya hendak cakap yang Yang Berhormat Kinabatangan kata itu, saya ada dengar. Yang Berhormat Kinabatangan mula-mula itu memang marahlah dalam taklimat oleh sebab Yang Berhormat sebut. Memang marah, saya tahu.Yang Berhormat pun marah, semua marah.
Akan tetapi di akhir-akhir itu bila dijelaskan tanggapan, persepsi bahawa MAS akan membawa penumpang-penumpang yang penerbangannya dibatalkan oleh AirAsia kerana penerbangannya diberhentikan secara zero fare. Ini Yang Berhormat katakah atau siapa yang katalah, zero fare. Tidak kena bayar apa-apa. Jadi apabila MAS Dato’ Ahmad Jauhari jelaskan sebenarnya tidak. Sebenarnya dibayar. Semua yang dibayar oleh penumpang akan dapat kepada MAS. Semua yang dibayar awal MAS minta. Sebab itu dia sudah dapat RM20 juta.
Jadi bila disebut macam itu, Yang Berhormat Kinabatangan kata, sama ada I salute you AJ ataupun I thank you. Saya dengar. Yang Berhormat tidak payahlah hendak cakap. On that point, on that point Yang Berhormat. Jadi saya ada dekat situ. Jadi tidak eloklah Yang Berhormat kata dia tidak kata. That’s it. Saya hendak ini cuma hari ini kita hendak bercakap secara keluarga, tidak payah kita hendak umpamanya…

Datuk Dr. Awang Adek Hussein:Umpamanya saya tidak hendaklah bawa isu maid dinaik taraf sebagai satu faktor menentu kejayaan CCF atau tidaklah, bukan semestinya betul. Apa yang dibuatnya mungkin tidak betul. Kalau disiasat tidak betul, tidak betullah. Kalau sepatutnya tidak dibuat, tidak dibuatlah. Akan tetapi saya kira dari segi kesan ke atas CCF berjaya, gagal CCF itu tidaklah banyak bergantung pada soal itu.
Yang ketiganya dari segi catering. Saya tahu masalah Yang Berhormat Permatang Pauh sebut. Masalah ini kontrak lama diberikan di masa yang lepas. Apa yang MAS cuba buat sekarang kerana perjanjian sudah dibuat. Kalau dapat dirunding semula dengan adanya joint procurement dengan AirAsia ini, volumenya semakin besar. Jadi yang katerer ini mungkin sanggup rundingkan harga yang lebih murah. Ini akan win-win kepada MAS dan Air sia. Betullah kalau…

Datuk Dr. Awang Adek Hussein:Saya tidak kata. Saya tidak hendak persoal pasal maid kah apa. Saya tidak persoal Yang Berhormat. Yang Berhormat hendak kata, katalah. Akan tetapi saya cuba mencari perkara-perkara yang akan ada bearing terhadap CCF ini. CCF, MAS ada kerugian RM2.5 bilion. Kerugian ini berlaku sebelum CCF. Jadi hendak blame CCF pun takut kita bersikap tidak adil. Jadi masalahnya what do we do? Adakah kita hendak abandon MAS? Kita hendak cari penyelesaian. Mengikut Khazanah dijangkakan dengan ada cross holdings 20% sahaja, bukan dia majoriti. MOF ada golden share. Takkanlah Khazanah pun teruk, MOF pun teruk, everybody teruk sehingga tidak dapat menggunakan kewajaran dalam pengurusan MAS.
Lembaga Pengarahnya ada KSP, ada SUB. Takkan hendak dengar wakil daripada AirAsia sahaja. Takkan mereka ini mudah sekali dikelentong. Ini masa hadapan. Saya tidak ada maklumat sangat. Minta maaf Yang Berhormat Permatang Pauh, saya tidak ada maklumat yang berlaku dahulu. Masa Tajuddin Ramli, saya minta maaf ya. Semasa itu Yang Berhormat Permatang Pauh hantar saya pergi Labuan. Saya duduk di Labuan masa itu. [Ketawa] Kasihan dekat saya ya. Akan tetapi tidak apalah sebab Yang Berhormat Permatang Pauh ada kuasa masa itu. Dia hantar saya ke Labuan.
Jadi tidak apa. Jadi saya tidak ada maklumat sangat mengenai Tajuddin Ramli. Jadi saya tidak hendaklah bercakap. Saya ini orang yang telus Yang Berhormat. Kalau saya tidak ada maklumat, saya tidak ada maklumat. Kalau ada Yang Berhormat kata, apa Timbalan Menteri tidak ada? Sudah itu hendak buat macam mana? Saya memang Timbalan Menteri. [Ketawa]

Misalnya yang milik walaupun dalam bentuk percentage yang dikatakan oleh Yang Berhormat tadi. Kita tidak meramalkan kejadian di masa hadapan. Akan tetapi hutang lama yang sebelum rangka kerjasama komprehensif ini maksudnya hutang AirAsia dan hutang MAS yang Yang Berhormat katakan RM2.5 bilion itu. Bermakna kata kalau sekiranya apa-apa yang terjadi, adakah hutang-hutang ini akan menjadi hutang bersama ataupun liabiliti bersama di antara dua pihak? Sebab ini amat penting Yang Berhormat. Dahulu saya sudah seperti Yang Berhormat Permatang Pauh bangkitkan tadi, pembelian lukisan RM10 juta dalam pejabat chairman, berlaku mismanagement di peringkat atasan, nasib ditanggung oleh pekerja-pekerja bawahan.

Akan tetapi yang lebih daripada lima tahun, mereka tidak ada kebimbangan kerana mereka dapat privilege seperti Yang Berhormat bangkitkan tadi. Jadi benda-benda yang macam ini yang sebenarnya yang mereka minta kita sampaikan sebagai wakil mereka di Dewan yang mulia ini. Nasib mereka yang juga ramai. Saya ingat melibatkan 2,000 orang hingga 3,000 orang yang di bawah lima tahun yang berkhidmat dengan MAS. Terima kasih Yang Berhormat Timbalan Menteri.

9. Why was the reluctance by the MOT, MOF, and other Malaysian authorities to transparently investigate these whole deals about the CCF, reported spinned off, RA and NOFARE tickets so on? Were they afraid? Come to MAS quitely, talk to MAS staff and observe the working areas and documents to find some AA PLANTED STAFF exist within MAS. How can this be? The working level of collaboration are still fuzzy to MAS staff to make them happen. Why? Because the BOF and top management have dubious agenda which they cannot transparently and solidly sell to MAS staff.
If the MAS BOD, Khazanah and/or the govt had integrity, the DCEO would have gone by now. To the contrary, they have begun to trivialize & localize the issue to one of confidentiality vis-a-vis the VR.
As listed by Kapak Halus, the core issues are still out there & are being forced through, visibly and invisibly. We need to re-affirm that the constituents and objectives of the CCF are against national interest, in “crystal clear” terms.
And if, these issues are not addressed now, the parties acting-in concert to the CCF, must be held accountable & are therefore liable to public rebuke, if it results in the collapse of our national carrier.
I fear that the timeline may not be soon enough for MAS & its STAKEholders, not only its significant SHAREholders….. some of whom got their foot through the door for next to nothing!

MAS financial report for year 2011 although unaudited is an official release by MAS BOD(oh) and Top(less) Management. They shoot themselves in the foot and in the face and in the butt. Despite that MAS more than a billion ringgit in Cash and another meager billion (after not so Bina tak Fikir made not so WAU moves), which financial institutions would believe and back their funding injection?
How about CIMB? already it flushed a RM50billion on untrustworthy AA and AAX, would it want to consider MAS? Really? Can do lah? Malaysia BOLEH!
Our dear minister needs a CPU aka otak upgrade la! Cakap tak tentu, memang COP minister buatan Malaysia.
Think for a while. Barang terbaik dan paling berkualiti kite EXPORT, barang ok-ok… asalkan boleh guna sekali dua kali dan kurang berkualiti kita jual kat rakyat semua.

I must say that being the only low cost airline in the world AA, compare to Jet Airways, Jetstar, Kingfisher etc…Is the only airline that CLAIM to be profitable all years around… Senang dpt landing right, n the best part can overlap with national Carrier MAS route… Management still giving FUEL reason… AA pakai air ka ? Everytime big bosses tukar, new batch of kroni bwk whole batch of team, bosses leave, tapi kroni tinggal, new boss again with new set of kroni masuk errr must i said new TEAM…pasal tu lah if we look at Australia operation at least 3 manager satu route, if ade SYD! MEL! ADL!PER, kira dah ade 12 MANAGER tu, aprt manager, station manager, area manager….wahhhhh belum kira executive lagi…..even SQ they only have only 1 manager to control whole operation in Australia, yg lain cuma executive…..if dah berzaman asyik rugiiiiii aje, well which department n who should we executed first? Definately the bosses coz they are paid ratusan ribu, marketing people asyik lah failllll , they should be fired, mengakulah, poor management n big boss yg travel like this arline belongs to them.
