FMT reported on 21-02-2011, in HERE, that YB Azmin and six other MPs have been classified as “non performing elected representatives” by a special committee headed by its supreme council member Nik Mahmood Nik Hassan. The six MPs were YB Azan Ismail (Indera Mahkota), YB Datuk Kamrul Baharin Abbas (Teluk Kmbang), YB Abdullah Sani (Kuala Langat), YB Lee Hoy Sian (PJ Selantan), YB Yusmadi Yusoff (Balik Pulau) and YB Loh Gwo Burne (Kelana Jaya).
The said KPI test also found ex PKR’s MPs, Wee Choo Keong (Wangsa Maju), YB Tan Tee Beng (Nibong Tebal), YB Zaharain Mohamed Hashim (Bayan Baru), YB Zulkifli Nordin (Kulim Baharu), YB Mohsin Fazli Samsuri (Bagan Serai) and YB Gobalakrishnan (Padang Serai) as non performers.
As far I know, under severe political constraints the 6 PKR MPs did perform as best as they could especially Teluk Kemang MP, YB Datuk Kamarul, who has done a good job in the Public Account Committee. As for the Konsensus Bebas MPs, there was no need for PKR to do the KPI as we have resigned from PKR because we could no longer subscribe to their constant politicking, politic of “Cakap Tak Serupa Bikin” and etc.
KPI was the brainchild of YAB PM Datuk Seri Najib bin Razak. PKR was trying so hard to emulate it but with no transparency and good governance.
The so-called KPI was just another political tactics to divert public attentions to their leader problem, own internal problems and to politically assassinate good MPs not like by the little napoleons. The KPI is a clear example that the PKR leader is bankrupt of ideas.
How could PKR call it KPI when it was not transparent and the reports are kept exclusively to the top leader? This so-called KPI should be renamed as “Secret Dossier For God Sent Leader of PKR”!
If PKR feels that there is a need for KPI then it should start with KPI on politicking by their top leader at the expense of nation building:
1. YB Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim (DSAI) has been appointed as the Economic Advisor to Selangor and he has announced that he will bring in RM4 billion worth of investment into Selangor. Where was the investment?
2. The Selangor sand scandals involving Kumpulan Semesta where no actions or words from top PKR leader.
3. A few months ago, YB DSAI joining the protest against the aggression of the Palestine people in front of the US Embassy but to only say sorry in America a week or so later.
4. The constant politicking of issues not for nation building but to further the PKR’s leader’s sole objective of “Putrajaya at all costs” as though Putrajaya is his birth right.
5, More importantly, what actions have been taken on the allegations of phantom members, frauds and others pertaining to the PKR’s own party elections, which have been widely reported by all forms of media. If there was no semblance of democracy in its party elections, what democracy was DSAI screaming about all these while.
