UPDATE, 12 May, 2.45pm: Court of Appeal Judge, YA Datuk Ramly Ali, after hearing an inter-parte application for a stay of execution of the High Court order, has granted a stay of execution of the said High Court order pending the disposal of the substantive appeal.

BREAKING NEWS! 4.55pm – The Kuala Lumpur High Court today declares YB Ir Mohd Nizar Jamaluddin is the lawful MB of Perak.

Berita Terkini! 4.55pm – Mahkamah Tinggi Kuala Lumpur High Court telah mengistiharkan bahawa YB Ir Mohd Nizar Jamaluddin adalah MB Perak yang sah.

On 9 May 2009, I was invited to attend a Wesak Day celebration at Kim Loo Ting Buddhist Temple at Lorong Ayer Puteh, off Jalan Ayer Panas, Setapak, Kuala Lumpur. The chief monk of the temple is Rev Seck Jhun Lun.

Kim Loo Ting Buddhist Temple also has an old-folks home called Pusat Sosial Kim Loo Ting, which was set up in 1998 by Mr Mun Kok Keong. It started with a small house and has now expanded into a two-storey building which can accommodate 28 senior citizens. With recommendation from the Welfare Department, it will take into their care old folks who have no relative and provide them with housing and medical attention.

On this auspicious Wesak Day, the temple donated a used van to Pusat Jagaan Nur Hasanah in Semenyih, Selangor. It also donated a quantity of adult diapers and electrical pumps for mattresses to Hospital Ampang, Hospital Selayang and Hospital Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (HUKM).

I was very impressed by the temple and the way the people continue to manage the old-folks home (Pusat Sosial Kim Loo Ting).

Your translation is perfect. No room for improvement. Thank you very much for your kind help. I am sure that some Mandarin readers are appreciative of your effort and help.

    To: HO LW

So far I could not detect any mistake in the translations. Even if there are, we should accommodate it because it is a free service. “The Translator” (whoever he or she is) is providing a voluntary service and we should appreciate him/her for it. No one is perfect.

Once again thank you all so much for the comments/view points. All constructive comments are welcome.

    With kindest regards
