Posted on February 16, 2009

For some time vicious rumours have been circulating claiming that Abdullah Badawi may not step down as Prime Minister come end March.

The Agong, Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin, has cleared the air in Parliament today and put the rumour to rest once and for all.

In His Royal Address for the opening of the first meeting of the second session of the 12th Parliament, the Agong has categorically stated that Abdullah Badawi will step down as Prime Minister come March 31.

By convention, the text of the Royal Address is prepared by the Prime Minister.

The House will sit until March 19.

What a pleasant surprise! This is the best news for the country. For good or for bad, at least there is certainty in Malaysia politics. At least the country will not be control by SIL and cronies.

The country is already in the bad state. To keep him there for another 6 months will be a major disaster and the country will be devastated. We cannot afford to let the SIL and cronies to run Malaysia.

    Syabas! Long live the King.

Actually with or without Pak Lah makes no difference because the PM office has been run by those small boys from 4th floor controlled by the SIL. That’s why the country is in such a mess and the economy is not moving at all. The cronies like Tony Fernandez in Air Asia can owed RM100 millions in Airport Tax and there is no actions from the government.

This is the type of administration that we have. God help Malaysia. Anyone is better than Pak Lah. It is only 5 years under him and the country has gone to the dog. God bless Malaysia.

Until Badawi is out of office, I wouldn’t believe him because there are so much at stake. Who is going look after the future of son-in-law, son, Tony Fernandez/Air Asia and other cronies?

I am sure that Pak Lah is cracking his head as to how to stay on as PM after March. The thought of Pak Lah as PM for another 6 months send chills down my spine because the future is so bleak!

Oh God! please help us and advise Pak Lah to go peacefully and forget about SIL and cronies.

at the pre-dawn of Najib-ism, the fundamental modus operandi of democracy has been undermined.

we have seen, in an attempt to reverse the result of people’s poll, framing, kidnapping, coercion, enticement, shaming and god knows what else.

is this the beginning of a new era? Are Malaysians willing to start another struggle to gain independence, justice, freedom and democracy?
