I am waiting to hear what are the replies from the Finance Minister (Tan Sri Nor Yakop, a good friend of Tony Fernandes) and Minister of Transport with regards to the questions on Air Asia.

I know that they will never tell us the truth but they must tell us why Air Asia owes RM100 over millions airport tax. Why such a special concession was given to Air Asia and not other companies?

I like the questions especially on security in Wangsa Maju, which is bad, abused of power and Air Asia.

I feel proud that Tony speaks like a Mat Salleh from England. I hope he will also have the same values of transparency, public accountability, abused of power and cronyism. Of course, he has none of it.

With constant advertisement launched by Air Asia, the government must ensure that member so fhte public will not be victims like those depositors depositing their monies in Deposit Taking Co-operatives, which all collapsed several years ago. Then the government had to use the people money for bailout.

Similarly here Air Asia is selling tickets many months or years in advance, so the government must enforce regulations so that public interests are protected.

The best solution is to regulate it by imposing a condition that all monies collected by Air Asia must be deposited in a bank and Air Aisa can only withdraw it 2 weeks before the flight departure.

If there is no such condition imposed, I can not see how public interests can be protected and I am certain that there will be a bailout not too far form now.

There is no way Air Asia can last when it can not pays the airport tax it has collected form the public and it had to take delivery of one airbus per month. Now it want to build Labu. What a big joke. Gloomy picture awaiting ahead.

I am against Labu and BAILOUT.

Tony is one person who can export roti chanai to India, sell Virgins to Branson and teach rubber planters how to build an airport out of LABU.

Why, he is even more cunning than Vinod Sekhar who sold green rubber to Die Hard.

    BRAVO, TONY DEI !!!

Thank you Con Air you are right. You have said it all.

” I know Malaysians very well,” said Fernandes, a native of Malaysia. “If you put a fare low enough, they’ll risk their lives,” he said, as the crowd laughed.

This is Tony Fernandes, the Malaysian Brand of looking at Malaysian this way.

Tan Sri Nor Yakop, please tell your friend, Tony Fernandes to FO! Pay up the RM140 million airport tax first before he wants to talk about building an airport. Stop bullshitting Malaysians. We are not that stupid.

Good questions on Air Asia. Whack that smooth operator.

I am also for boycotting Air Asia until they give up Labu.

    Good Afternoon YB Wee,

I always had good respect for your intelligence and braveness in standing up in Parliament battling for us innocent citizen. But when comes to AirAsia, i have to admite i think you have personal attacks on AirAsia. I am a staff of AirAsia. And proud to announce it. YB, i really think a talented and knowledgable YB like you should attack other GLCs that are really making profit out of their own cronies and neglecting the citizens. but the roots of AirAsia leaders, my boss Tony isn’t like that. he may have alot of contacts and networks in both government and oppositions but he ultimate aim is to develop his business that in the end benefits whom? the CITIZENS!!!! sad to say, Malaysians are pretty much still in propoganda and agenda setting theory…we are often being set what to think about..we people often just ban wagonly follow wat their role model or leader sya…like in ur case, we like you YB coz u always make sense and reveal the truth…I wish you attack other culprits who is sucking our money..and not us…

    My ‘Red’ Opinion

You must be a blind staff of Air Asia who does not know your bosses like Tony Fernandes and Kalimullah well. If you do, you would not have have written such comments. They are for themselves period.

Remember when your bosses were fighting so hard to take over Rural Air Services from MAS. FAKS (subsidiary of Air Asia) got it. Immediately the Pak Lah government paid a RM60 million subsidy in advance to FAKS instead of gradually. Some 8 months later FAKS gave up and MAS was asked take over. MAS, being the national carrier, had to take it for the sake of the community.

Out of the 7 planes that were returned to MAS, 6 were un-airworthy and 1 was caniblised. MAS was forced by the then Minister of Transport, Chan Kong Choy, another good friend of Tony, to take over despite this fact.

MAS had to spend RM35 million to make good the planes. However, FAKS did not refund any part of the RM60 million subsidy to the government and Pak Lah was very happy that rakyat money was screwed by FAKS.

As at this date, Air Asia is owing MAB more than RM150 million on airport tax, which had already been paid by the passengers. Therefore, there is no reason for Air Asia to owe MAB. Air Asia may say that it has disputes to settle with MAB. But we, as passengers, have no dispute with MAB. So Air Asia has no reason not to pay MAB the airport debt. The important is: Why Pak Lah is still sleeping about this airport tax issue?

If Air Asia cannot even pay this airport tax debts to MAB, how on earth it could build an airport without the rakyat money. Stop talking cock ok.

No Air Asia staff with the right mind with the national interests at heart, will ever agree with Tony and My ‘Red’ Opinion. It is just a con game for quick money at he rakyat expense.

Why is Tony so quiet about the Airport Tax, which Air Asia has collected but not paid to MAB?

Air Asia has no money or in a bad financial state that’s why it needs to use the airport tax as working capital. I also heard many of Air Asia’s suppliers have problems in settling its debts. SO BUILD WHAT AIRPORT WITH ITS OWN MONEY??? Stop taking the rakyat for a ride.

YB Wee please carry on doing your duty and stop Tony and his gang to rob the country assets. YB please speak up for us. The rakyat need MP like you to stand up for us against the cronies of Pak LAh.

    Please stop the rots.

Is it not the duty of Pak Lah or his minister to instruct MAB to demand immediate payment of the RM140 million airport owed by Air Asia. If no payment forth coming then MAB should stop Air Asia from using the facilities of LCCT. First and foremost, withdraw all landing rights. Then I would like to see whether Tony can still talk big.

If such action is taken by the government, which it is supposed to do, then it will be the end of Air Asia. It will be Air Bungkus.

YB you carry on doing what you are doing to check on the government so the Pak Lah will not be sleeping all the times until he does not know that the RATS around are all very rich and loaded but the rakyat are all poor.

I hope there are more questions like these from other PR MPs.

We, Malaysians, must stop these cronies from raping te rakyat monies. Stop Labu.

NO NO NO NO NO BAILOUT.

No money No Talk, Tony. Don’t bullshit us any more, we already know your nonsense. Just pay up.

Pleae tell us if AIr Asia is in the verge of dying so that we can stop paying for tickets in advance.

    dat2, the apologist.

Never mind about other things. Just one simple question:

Why Tony and gang never dare to touch on the issue of owing MAB more than RM150 million for airport tax, which have been prepaid by passengers?

    Where is the money now?

A home grown company that collect airport tax from the passengers and did not bother to pay to MAB. Why not pay back to the passengers after all Air Asia is not entitled to keep our money.

So I hope Tony and his budak upahan can answer why keep our airport tax money over RM150 million? Sudah mahu bankrapkah??????

It does not matter if the questions are buried at No: 50. What is important is the questions have been published and public read about them. Public knew about the issues that is the most important. The government can give all the stupid reasons and when General Elections come then we shall teach BN a lesson which they will never forget like March 08.

If they proceed with Labu BN will have to pay for a heavy price. Please don’t think the rakyat are stupid. Remember March 08, 2008!

Good questions. I like those questions related to Air Asia. I am most curious to know EPF bought how many of Air Asia shares. I know it is about 10% but 10% looks little without the actual numbers. Remember at one time Air Asia / Tony Fernandes bragged about foreign companies buying Air Asia shares because it is a great companies. But they all sold their shares some last years just before it chairman Pahamin (the one always wearing the cowboy hat) at which time EPF bought most if not all the Air Asia shares in order to maintain the Air Asia’s share price.

The question is there are so many good companies with great potential why EPF must chose Air Asia, an ailing company. EPF is under minister of Finance, who is Tan Sri Nor Yakop, a close friend of Tony Fernandes.

Malaysians. please be careful I believe they are working on a BAILOUT because Air Asia is in no position to take delivery of 150 airbus planes – one month on airbus!!!

Can even pay the airport tax to the tune of more than RM140 millions. It want to build Labu airport with its own fund. My foot!

YB, good questions on Air Asia. I cannot wait to read the stupid answers from Pak Lah government. I would like to know how much Air Asia is owing MAB for airport tax, which monies came from the passengers but treated as profit by Air Asia. No wonder Air Asia wants to build airport so that it can do the collection.

Enough is enough! We cannot allow cronies like Tony Fernandes, Kalimullah and others to screw us anymore. Lets send these parasites to hell!
