Posted on September 25, 2008

Earlier today I visited 3 orphanages and presented them with 30 packets of 5kg packs of rice each. The orphanages are known as Persatuan Kebajikan Teratak Shifa Kuala Lumpur and Selangor located at Taman P. Ramlee, Setapak; Nor Iman at Taman Ibu Kota; and Baitul Ummah at Setapak Indah.

Indeed it is a joy to be able to share your love for the less fortunate amongst the society. Ones wealth is not measured by how much a person owns or have but rather how he lives his life while still on earth and be contented daily for the fresh air each waking morning, knowing that life is still with you. The idea of sharing, caring and loving those less capable than us should be our way of life.

What a nice break from the daily mundane tasks of politicking with the current power transition is still not concluded. The power that be is still in auto-pilot mode while the people at large is struggling to make ends meet with the festive season at the door step.

All is not gloomy though with the right mix of check and balance in the current political scenario which agurs well for the coming generations. Let the two parties system be entrenched in our political system for the good of all citizens where excessive leakeages and rampant corruptions are stop at its track. Let this nation gains its former glory !

Great stuff my MP. Keep up the good work. Good, minimum politics during the period of Ramadan. I do appreciate your actions. Think of the needy and don’t follow that idiot Chinaman in PKR, who loves to make conflicting statements after statements just for self glory.

MP Wee, please give Chinaman idiot in the PKR some advice and tell him to just go on the street and stand in front of the riot squad truck, bite policeman’s arm and etc. That’s what he is good at. Please ask him to go “Iamamalaysian.wordpress.com” and he can read all about himself there.

good job, YB. I was a volunteer in Shifa home last year. While they do receive plenty of donations in terms of food and things such as rice, used clothes, books and etc, they are lack of cash. Cash is crucial to pay bills, school items for the kids and etc. I hope more people will come forward and help to donate cash as well as foods & things.

    Well done, YB ๐Ÿ™‚
