That’s what the Prime Minister said earlier today as reported here,
“There will be no further increase to the price of fuel in the country this year despite the possibility of the global price of oil reaching US200 (RM660) per barrel.”
Can we take the PM’s word for it though he has been known and proven true to “flip-flop” on what he has said or promised? I leave it to you all to judge the truth of the PM’s statement.
Good night and sleep well, Malaysia.

nope, not gonna listen or believe a word from this man

He should increase it every 3 months and not wait till Jan 1st otherwise people will complain the increase is too much.

Our PM and his entire cabinet are constantly in a “flip-flop” mode, which proves that announcements are usually made in a haste, without after-thoughts and no consultations among themselves. Therefore, what transpires after is a rush to do damage control which usually ends up them tripping over each other, face down! In short, they’re LIARS.Usually, whenever a petrol price increase is announced, a stern warning will also be issued to traders, transport companies, etc to not take advantage to increase their charges.. That’s just being a lip-service for the next few days, the papers will be printing colums after colums clearly showing that prices of essentials and services are increasing. I don’t see the relevant ministries that issued the earlier stern warning taking action at all!!And most importantly, why are we still subsidizing those foreign vehicles at our borders? Millions are draining out daily. Remember, initially the Govt wanted to plug this leeching at the borders but pulled out at the eleventh hour and increased the petrol prices of the nation instead!! It appears that the Govt would rather its rakyat take the full blow rather than those leeching foreigners. This is the type of Govt that should have been booted out at the March 8 GE.I’m a family man with mouths to feed and to provide a roof over our heads and its proving more difficult each day. It’s no different that what our parents went through in the olden days. Our society is not modernizing, its digressing!!! And all thanks to our incompetent BN!!!For those who voted for BN at the 12th GE, you’re a deserving lot, shameless!!
YB, Barang Naik menyusahkan rakyat.
YBWhats your say with the proposed increased of parking charges by DBKL. They will impose charges in KL area, from 7-10pm!!! and 7 days a week. That means, we klites is further burdened, have to pay even on weekends!

One hand said imposed some policies to reduce the burden of rakyat, the other hand increase the parking fees and the length of it, great BN government, they are just initiate their self destructive mode. Great! Great! Great!!
DIPETIK DARI BERITA HARIANKHAMIS, 12/06/2008BERITA UTAMA Harga minyak kekal tahun iniOleh Wan Hazmir BakarPERDANA Menteri, Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi ketika sidang media di pejabatnya di Putrajaya, semalam. Turut hadir Menteri Kewangan II, Tan Seri Nor Muhamed Yakcop (kanan).
MP WEE, tengoklah berapa byk perompak2 zulhasan dan mayor belanja…baru airfare tu…tak masuk lagi anak bini yg sama merompak harta rakyat…RM500,000 study tour under firePearl LeeWALK the talk. Don’t ask the people to change their lifestyles when the government continues to be lavish, said opposition MPs yesterday. They were especially perturbed by a recent study tour that included Federal Territories Minister Datuk Seri Zulhasnan Rafique, Ministry secretarygeneral Datuk Ahmad Phesal Talib and Kuala Lumpur mayor Datuk Ab Hakim Borhan. All together, there were 15 officials who went on the 12-day trip, which started on May 29, to Berlin, London and Vancouver. Air fares alone would have cost the taxpayers almost RM500,000.Said Cheras MP Tan Kok Wai: “Why the need for such a big group? Why the need to go so far when they could have learnt the same from cities closer to home? This trip is a sheer waste of public funds.“Those flying first class would have paid RM59,200, business class RM44,200 while economy class is RM25,200.“The Prime Minister is calling for people to change their lifestyles with the recent increase in fuel price but the government is not being thrifty.” Selangor executive councilor for local government and research, Ronnie Liu, said he wouldn’t mind trips that are for good causes, especially if there was a novelty project to be studied.“They should, however, refrain from organising trips if the only objective is to learn what we already know,” said Liu.Liu said he would be chartering a bus to Singapore on June 26 to learn more about landscaping, waste management and traffic management systems.“My exco will be going to Singapore by bus and we will be staying in a reasonablypriced hotel which is within our means,” he pointed out.Selangor officials will also travel to China, India and Middle East to woo investors. He also said spouses should not be allowed on official trips as the government would incur indirect costs as a result of this indiscretion. Dan lagi di sini…kenaikan parking fee di KL…siapa yang dapat kontrak operate? Please find out…we can bet it is their people… More shockwaves on the wayPearl LeeTHERE is more bad news for city folk. Come Monday, they will have to pay more to park. And the fees are payable from 7.30am to 10pm, seven days a week, including public holidays. While the rate will be 50 sen an hour in the outskirts, in Bukit Bintang, Jalan Sultan Ismail and other parts of the city centre it will be 80 sen an hour. This means that if you park in the city for eight hours a day, you’ll have to pay RM6.40.City Hall will also install solarpowered parking meters, similar to those in Petaling Jaya and Subang Jaya. The meters have coin slots and readers to allow the use of MyKad linked to the MEPS system.City Hall will pay RM1.50 per parking bay as rental to suppliers of the machines, but it will collect RM7.80 a bay in the city centre and RM4 in the outskirts from contractors appointed to manage the bays. This means that City Hall will be making between RM2.50 and RM6.30 a parking bay. The meters will be installed in four phases, with the first phase in the city centre — covering Bukit Bintang, Masjid India, Jalan Sultan Ismail, Kampung Baru, Chow Kit, Pudu, Kompleks Damai and Loke Yew — where there are 32,232 parking bays. The electronic coupon parking meters run on solar powered batteries and cost very little to operate. So, city residents are asking why the increase in fees, operation hours and days especially when the cost of living is soaring? City Hall says the move will help eliminate parking touts but consumer associations have questioned the logic.Under the old system, it cost 60 sen an hour during regular working hours though in parts of KL, parking fees were also collected on weekends.Mayor Datuk Ab Hakim Borhan, who announced the new rates, said 50 enforcement officers would be deployed in the four parking zones and they would carry hand-held devices equipped with Bluetooth and infrared services. With these devices, the officers will be able to print out summonses and snap photos of vehicles whose owners have not paid the fee.GET THE MAYOR AND ZULHASNAN OUT…REAL CROOKS.Also, how did the biggest Jusco in Malaysia come to be constrcited right in the middle of AU2? Opposite MSN? Wasn’t it supposed to be a residential development? Siapa yang bagi approval? Perompak sama yang bagi clearance to many developers to rape and degrade KL.
YB,It’s kinda amusing to see that everyone is discussing about the large issue i.e. increase in price of petrol. Now, what about the smaller issues i.e. the well beings of people in Wangsa Maju itself. It’s about time that the problems faced by Wangsa Maju folks to be attended to especially the flooding problems in Kg Puah, Kg Bdr Dalam. It is better to take care of our own backyard rather than talking about bigger issues (e.g. economy), after all it is the folks of Wangsa Maju that got the YB elected in the first place.
Yellow Rose of Texas,Saya bersetuju denganmu. Trafik di jalan tersebut sememangnya bertambah baik sebagaimana yang diwar-warkan dalam menifesto YB walaupun dia sehingga kini dia langsung belum buat apa-apa pun pasal subjek berkenaan.bahtera merdeka – tak tau nak komen apa, betul ke?
Transformer2008,I totally agree with you.Bahtera Merdeka Comment: No comment please, by the way, is it true?
The rakyat must tighten their belts says the PM. Minister expenses cut down by 10%, how good a PM.What about Zulhasnan and Datuk Bandar gone on a so-called study tours to Vancouver and Berlin. What about the holidays in London? The Zulhasnan/Datuk Bandar and many otghers recent trips costing hundred of thousand Ringgit Malaysia is the way BN government save monies for the nation. Stop bullshitting Mr PM! We all know how you have “saved monies” for us. I would think that it is too late to save monies because the country is bankrupt already!
He is a bodowi PM and cannot be trusted. Last time he said no increase in fuel for at least one year but increase again. Cant believe or trust our Bodowi PM.Ask him to resign immediately for our DSAI or Wan Azizah be our PM.
Jadi pergi kerja naik apa???Nia macam orang tak mampu nak pergi kerja??
Recapped,Eric Goh Section 2 W.Maju said… He is a bodowi PM and cannot be trusted. Last time he said no increase in fuel for at least one year but increase again. Cant believe or trust our Bodowi PM.Ask him to resign immediately for our DSAI or Wan Azizah be our PM.I TOTALLY AGREE WITH THE ABOVE ‘IN YOUR DREAM’ STATEMENT.ONE MORE THING, I JUST WANT TO SHARE FREE BM COURSE OVER THIS BLOG ON HOW YOU CAN SUCCEED SPELLING THE NAME ‘BADAWI’ CORRECTLY INSTEAD OF ‘BODOWI’.
selangor got the free water, at last. the state really worked hard for it as syabas was reluctant to give it away. they are just making it difficult for PR to deliver their promises.anyway, with more good things to the rakyat, mat taib can dream on on capturing selangor back
YB Wee,Formal Request For Translation Oh The Following, Please:-CC LIEW said… 12 June, 2008 23:19

to the three mouseketeers i mentioned earlier, here is another piece you should be aware. we still dont know how true the contents of the article is. lets hope not true at all.http://rockybru.blogspot.com/2008/06/ceocfo-of-glc-to-get-100-wage-increase.htmlRegards,greenhorn
Here we go again…. a 36 year old fool tarnishing our name. 2008/06/13DRUG MULE : Malaysian woman caught with cocaineKUALA LUMPUR: A Malaysian woman has been charged in London with drug trafficking after she was caught with 3.5kg of cocaine in her luggage. Susanna Janury, 36, was nabbed at the East Midlands airport on May 29after she flew in from Gambia. She was to take a connection flight to Kuala Lumpur when she was arrested. She claimed she was not aware of the drugs, worth about RM1.2 million, when she was stopped by airport authorities.A Malaysian High Commission official who confirmed the incident said Susanna is being held in a prison pending the mention of her case on June 16.Susanna, from Selangor, claimed the bag was given to her by someone she had met in Gambia after she discovered that she needed an additional bag for her belongings.Susanna told the High Commission official that her trip to London was a free holiday given to her.
Anonymous,Not interested!!!!!!!I jez want to see that the PKR’s YB exercises what he preached during the campaign and whatever “crap” he promised in the manifesto, especially to those people in Wangsa Maju.P/S –> It’s not “mouseketeer”, but “musketeer”.
No I didn’t mean the young men that accompanied knights on foot to patrol & fight. I meant the cartoon characters as in Mousekeeters. Get my drift ?I have more to add about your first line, but I will keep it at elementary stage for now as you are not interested.Comments off for now.Regards, greenhorn
Dear YB Ag Kiong,Sorry for the delay, your post title:”Police report lodged against Shell petrol station for alleged adulterated petrol” had been translated and you may cut and paste from my blog here:http://ccliew.blogspot.com/2008/06/blog-post_09.htmlYour post title:”Visit to Taman Melati”is not translated by me. The credit should go to good man Angel_X.To bahtera merdeka:The text you request for the translation is actually the Chinese translation of the original content in this post. If I will need to leave a comment, very high possibility I will write it in English, considering most readers are from multi-races.
They(not sure who) have started building the base foundation for parking meters in wangsa maju section 5 already. From what i hear from the neighbouring offices, this area isn’t a gazzetted area yet hence no parking meters should be erected…till it is!This is definitely a wrong move too as no notices were given to any of the occupants of this area or around for the matter. And the govt says will reduce the burden of the rakyat???!!!Your take on this YB?
YB,It is high time you seriously look into the grouses of Taman Bunga Raya residents. The TAR College students parked their cars outside the campus like they own the area (without regards to other road users and Taman Bunga Raya residents) whereas the college itself provides ample parking space inside their compound. DBKL and traffic police should also be taken to task as no summonses have been issued to the reckless, heartless and selfish students –> things have not improved during the reign of the previous YB and the current YB as well.P/S –> When can we see changes in Wangsa Maju? We don’t want another NATO (No Action Talk Only) here.
Thank you so much for all your comments. They are very good feedbacks. Some are not in the context of the subject matter. Nevertheless, I do take note of the matter brought up in my blog.CC liewThank you so much for the translation works. It goes to Angel_X also. Without both of your help, life would have been impossible and this blog will not be able to progress.terry gallyot – mr aisaI am sorry that i am not aware of whether area has been gazetted for collection of parking fees. I shall endeavour to find out.transformer 2008You got to be fair and reasonable in life. I can not speak for the previous YB. As for me, this is the first time I hear about this problem regarding parking in Taman Bunga Raya. Can you please take a picture of the problem that you have highlighted and send it to my email address. Upon receipt of the photo , I shall look into the matter. In the mean time, please be civil with our comments so that we can engage to exchange ideas and solve problems.
There are parking lots drawn out on the roads outside TAR college. Has been there for years. Looks legitimate.New issue- DBKL is erecting parking meters everywhere- opposite Public Bank, the Wangsa Melawati shops, etc.
YB,Excuse me (whoa)…I am being civil…let’s establish this as a fact.I dunno much about politics but what I know, member of parliament should serve their constituency first, then talk about the public at large (or slam Pak Lah, BN Govt etc)I guess my comments did hit some nerves, huh?….As for the photograph, I would suggest that the YB go and see for yourself the situation (maybe you could also bring your own cameraman etc).Btw, what about the flooding problem in Kg Puah and Kg Bandar Dalam –> is YB aware of this issue or you need photographs to proof my point?Adios…good night….
Transformer2008It would appear from the comment that parking problems in Taman Bunga Raya have been in existence for many years since the time of the last YB. If you can help with the picture it would be easier, faster and better because you knew of the exact location. With the pictures, I can forward the pictures to DBKL and police for quick actions. Without pictures on such matters, will not be so effective when I lodge the complaints. So please do not jump into the conclusion that all complaints must be supported by pictures. I feel that we should work together by helping each other in order to make our respective role more effective. We must also bear in mind that there are not enough parking space in most parts of KL because we do not have a well thought out Plan for KL. From the KL Draft Plan, one can only come to one conclusion that DBKL is only interested in moving toward building “concrete jungle” in KL rather than making KL a people friendly city. The Draft Plan for KL should also take into account the flood problems in KL general (including Kg Puah and Kg Dalam). Please be assured that although I am W/Maju MP for about 3 months plus, I have visited Kg Puah and Kg Dalam immediately after the flood and have spoken to the residents of the areas. I am informed that the flood problems there happened almost every year due to the blockage of Sungai Gombak. It is most unfortunate that this yearly problems were not highlighted to the authorities and Parliament previously. After my visits to Kg Puah and Kg Dalam, I have brought up the flood problems to the attention of Datuk Bandar, Minister of FT and tabled questions in Parliament. If you were to go to the Parliament Page in my blog on “Parliamentary Questions” and on this page on meetings with Datuk Bandar, you will see that the flood problems in Sungai Gombak had been brought up to the attention of the authorities. So far I only get excuses from the Badawi’s administration. Of course, I shall pursue this matter. Thank you for your comments.
Classical Malaysian style. The PM and the ministers issue statement without any fore-thought. Thus all the flip-flops, conflicting remarks, confusion etc. This is proof that the govt lacks planning and all decisions are ad-hoc. Not to mention, we are famous for poor implementation and enforcement. This is the 3rd class mentality of Malaysians and I don’t see any signs of change in the near future.
It is a flip-flop government. Flip-flopping all the way. Fist he said he will implement IPCMC for public to complain against the police. Then Bodohwi flip-flop and said no.when asked when Parliament will be dissolved, he said no dissolution and then he dissolved Parliament the next day. When he was asked about the price hike on the petrol, his reply was not until August. The next one or two days he announced price increased of 41% for petrol. This is the flip-flop government for for all of us. We must go all out to get rid of them. Lets all turn up in big numbers for the July 12th protest against Price Hide On Petrol at KLCC. SO see you all there. Enough of the flip-flop government.
Dear YB Wee,from the way you answered transformer 2008, I take great consolation that you are humble, reasonable, issue focused.Transformer 2008, as citizens who insist correctly our civil rights, we also must have some degree of finesse ourselves. If you know there is a problem, please help to highlight it, not to play hide and seek.Imagine a girl friend crying and rolling on the floor, saying, “you no good boy friend. You don’t understand me. You don’t love me…now you guess why am I angry…”Tony Pua mention that the people in PJ Utara area are great. They compile detailed reports about theu problems, hand over to the authorities and only approach to MPs when there is undue delay. The way you rant and rave is not very helpful.I was a TARcian many years ago. Occassionally. I drive to TBR to makan. In the morning, the legitimate car parks are properly taken up. It is only at night that along the illegal stalls in front of CIMB bank, people coming out to eat try to double park and all that. The real solution is actually hae sufficient car park but the buildings are already there.RegardsLee Wee Tak
Yo Lee Tak Wah,You are quite a busy body, huh! Well, praise the YB all you want..but let me tell you something, mate –> I am a resident of TBR since 1985 (not like you who used to study there for a while) so I believe I know the problem better than you.I thought this blog is created by the YB for its constituents to raise issues (which I did) and this is a forum where the YB himself replied the issues (which he did) –> I’m personally happy with the progress so far (till you came along and try to kiss some YB’s ass –> there should be a right place and right time to kiss people’s ass, my friend, and now is definitely not the right time). To Yb Wee,Thank you for the explanation. I look forward to see the progress of the 2 issues.Ciao….
Tak gitu En/Pn/Cik Lee Wee Tak?
Transformer, don’t get personal. I am talking about the way you are asking for assistance yet not willing to provide in a manner convenient to people who are trying to do their best for you. Read again what you write:-“As for the photograph, I would suggest that the YB go and see for yourself the situation (maybe you could also bring your own cameraman etc).”Kiss ass? I have a right to praise someone if I think he is doing great. It is good man management to motivate people. YB Wee has to meet with difficult people everyday so a little encouragement here and there is not a problem. This is not only a platform for you to shout and demand. It is also a space to spread good will and give some motivation to YB Wee.Busy body? In a democracy, everyone has a right to say, in a civilised manner, what he or she thinks.RegardsLee Wee Takp.s. I’ll excuse the awful cut up of my name
Transformer,if you claim that you have been staying there since before Maradona won the world cup in Mexico, what have you done?As a property owner, we have the right to take action to defend quiet enjoyment of our property.YB Wee is asking you the specifics of your complaint and you just come up with a wishy washy statement like “go see yourself”Come on, it would help everybody a lot if you have some photos. DBKL folks cannot reject YB Wee’s complaint on your behalf by saying,”tiada bukti”We can also nail down specific offenders and even pursue them with the summons because there are proof.See, I am pointing out facts. I am not attacking you as a personal but offering valid reasons as why I am disagreeing with you and also constructive point of view in furtherance to your cause.Let’s move towards first world mentalityRegardsLee Wee Tak
bakal calon, saya ini encik atau brother….sama-sama rakyat Malaysia macam semua!saya berterima kasih atas nasihat anda. Saya bukan rasa pahit atau apa-apa. Saya sedia terima teguran jika saya salah. RegardsLee Wee Tak
Thank you cc liew for highlighting my error in assigning ‘thanks’ to you instead of angel_x in the ‘Visit to Melati’ posting. The error is regretted and my apology from the bottom of my heart to angel_x.I wish to thank all who have helped in one way or another to make this blog a success. I could not have done it alone. Thanks all!I also wish to thank all commenters for their valuable input. I may not have replied to every comment individually but your content is certainly taken to heart. Please continue to give your views here that will help me do a better job for the rakyat of Wangsa Maju. Thank you.
To Bakal Calon PRU 13-Wangsa Maju,Yo man, now we all know that the current YB actually won the PRU12 partly becoz of the “Undi Pos”. He..he…, eh samalah macam kes zulhasnan…YB undi pos rupanya… (no offense, huh YB)…I think that I really like you lah…maybe you should try to garner support for the next election from now on…you’ve already earned one vote from me, mate…Yo Lee Wee Tak,The rror in your name –> is a genuine typo error (my mistake, no intention to belittle you in any way).As for your comments, well I did my best during the tenor of the past YB but (fortunately or unfortunately), I’m bringing the issue again to the current YB (am I don’t know why you are being so defensive as the matter is directed to the YB and not you, unless you are the YB in the making). To YB,I’ll be signing off now as I don’t think the blog has met its objectives. Some of the people are even acting like they are being attacked personally (like Mr Lee here) whereas the issues are highlighted to you as our rightful MP.Oh, btw, I believe that there is no Kg Dalam in Wangsa Maju –> did you really visit the flood area? Because if you did, then you would know that the kg’s name is Kg Bandar Dalam (well, maybe it’s a genuine typo error or maybe not?…Hhhmmmm…..)Well, that’s all from me…I’m leaving the blog (or mental block?) forever…All the best .. (I think you really need it)….Ciao….
Did YB Wee win with postal vote? I thought those postal vote is meant for BN candidates only! Me being defensive? You better read my comments again and I am being offensive! I am driving positively on the good points on being clear and substantive with a complaint. This is something we need to apply many aspect of life like wing a complain about a product you have purchased, making a police report, writing a staff appraisal.Being defensive means trying tojustify my point of view. As I re-read my own comments, it is offensive in a positive manner. Defensive? Nope. You gotta do better to pull that rugh off my feet.No offence, Transformer. I am no Deceptive-con.RegardsLee Wee Tak
Returned to work today after a weekend full of traveling. Read all the comments under this heading. Blessed are those who speak aloud. Blessed are those who do not know what they say half the time.Dear YB Wee, look after yourself, your family and most importantly, look after your health. God Bless.Comments off.Regards, greenhorn
Dear YB,Since someone did mention about the parking problem in KL, please allow me to highlight this issue to you again. As you can see, more and more restaurants are taking up parking spaces to run their business. One fine example are those restaurants at the Metroview shoplots. I find that they are getting bolder by taking up more parking spaces. And lately, that quite-new restaurant (beside Carrefour express) with the big yellow signboard and yellow walls do the same too! this is getting too much!this kind of selfish act causes traffic congestion and inconvinience to the road users. No worries, i shall be taking pictures and post it for all of us to see how bad the situation has become.I just hope DBKL or any authorities will do something about it.Thank you.
Well, Mr Lee, you thought wrong!!!HA… HA… HA…Banyak lagi yang you kena belajar ni…
13 June, 2008 13:40 – Here we go again 36 year old fool tarnishing our name. Today’s news – she’s not a fool after all but a professional! Lets hope and pray this is not trueWednesday June 18, 2008Malaysian ‘a professional drug courier’LONDON: A 36-year-old Malaysian woman is a professional drug courier who has “travelled all over,” a drug trafficking trial was told.Prosecuting officer Andrew Davidson said Susanna Janury had gone to countries such as Peru, Spain, India, Australia and Gambia before arriving in Britain.“The drugs were professionally concealed in her luggage,” he told a three-member bench headed by G. Nicholson at the Loughborough magistrate’s court in Leicestershire, about 250km from here, on Monday.Susanna was charged with trafficking in 3.5kg of cocaine at the East Midlands Airport in Loughborough, Leicestershire County, on April 30.Cocaine is listed as a Class A drug – regarded by British law as the most dangerous – and Susanna faces the maximum penalty of a life sentence and/or a fine under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971.Clad in a long-sleeved blue T-shirt and jeans, Susanna, a child minder from Selangor, looked weary when she was brought before the court. The case was adjourned on June 2 for committal proceedings on Monday where it was to have been committed to the Leicester Crown Court or postponed to another date.Davidson told the court that Immigration officers had “challenged” Susanna when she flew in from Gambia on that day as they were not satisfied with her documents. However, they decided to issue her with temporary papers to enter the country and she had to report back the next day, he added. He said Immigration officers raided her hotel room when she failed to bring along her luggage the following day and recovered the drugs from a concealed compartment in her luggage.Davidson believed Susanna had deliberately concealed the drugs although she denied any knowledge of it.The court granted his application to defer the case to June 30 and ordered Susanna to be remanded in custody until then. The high-profile case had attracted the attention of Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak during his visit to London last week.He had advised Malaysian women not to be taken in by the sweet talk and empty promises of those who offered them free holidays and shopping trips overseas.
Dearest Brothers & Sisters of Wanga Maju;
Hope that everyone is fine despite the Rude shook up and coming recession of our beloved Malaysia.
I do hope that we in Wangsa Maju can be a little more civilized & cultured and NOT misbehave like some ” moody neighbours” by calling Lee Wee Tak kissing ass etc. From the comments posted in all previous postings, Mr Lee Wee Tak come across as a very sincere and respectable person who does not flare into tempers or rude for that matter.
Please note that as residents of Wangsa Maju or any where else in this lovely planet we have to give constructive criticisms and be fair for the person representing and serving us.
We have to be mature in our feedbacks and demands for any elected representative and law makers. For the benefit of everyone we are paying quit rents ( property owners ) therefore there is a party named DBKL which is rightfully to take care of our basic needs like drainage, traffic and matters related to Bandaraya jurisdiction. Out of my 53 years living in this area, my family will personally call the Bandaraya or Alam Flora or TNB ; Jabatan Bekalan Air (then) people if we have some feedback or complaints & normally they will attend to them. Otherwise, I will forward an official complaint to their superiors.
We cannot expect any MP for that matter to look into every single problem or complaint we are facing. If we have complained to certain authorities and they are not responding then it is rightfully apt that the matter be referred to the elected MP.
If the MP as law maker is not given ample time to look into other major issues that affect the major policies of the country then we will have a full blown situation like what we are facing today like lack of infrastructures, transport, crime rates whereby every citizens of the country will be duly affected. Policies will also involved our future generations. We should reflect deeper into the meaning of the Roles of Elected Law Maker before it is manifested into just another DBKL function.
We are not denying that an elected MP should take care of us BUT not every single tiny request. Eg. my own neighbor is complaining of rats in his house. How do you expect your MP to go into your house to catch a RAT? This is a true story not something I made up. Strange I told him the RATS don’t seemed to like my house caused they never Visit my house!
In Subang Jaya if cars are blocking the neighbors, residents will call directly to to MPSJ to rectify the problem. Don’t ask me how I know cause the Majlis is just near my office and we normally have chats with the officers to understand and appreciate their work.
Giving a vote to a person does not mean that we own the person or he is our slave to be bullied. We need to respect each other and appreciate the person who is serving us. Why are we bashing Lee Wee Tak if he is behaving in a civil manner?
We should encourage people like him to come forward in doing volunteer service and thank him for it.
Come on ladies & gentlemen let’s be civil and Bersopan when we deal with each other. Calling others names will not solve any of our problems.
Why don’t we work together & menjalinkan silahturahim in promoting a people friendly neighborhood.
Mr Lee, keep up the good work cause with synergistic positive energy then we can create a better and harmonious living environment.
Ask NOT what the Country can do for You But What You can Do for your country.
Too Bad if there are Cyber Troopers trying to create Words of War here. Let’s kiss them Good-Bye. Maybe they can give their numbers & I will personally engage with them.
To All Wangsa Maju Residents, WELCOME TO OUR NEIGHBORHOOD & TOGETHER WE MAKE A BETTER LIVING ENVIRONMENT.
