From comment to positive action by DBKL

Posted on May 8, 2008

Below is a sequence of events beginning with a comment posted on this blog by a resident of Wangsa Maju and how finally DBKL responded to my email to them regarding an issue highlighted to them.

Syabas DBKL for your quick response and action!

You should follow the sequence of events by reading from the bottom of this post.

At this point, may I humbly ask residents of Wangsa Maju to give credit where it is due. Let’s give DBKL a big and warm thank you when they have done a good job for us. A little appreciation will go a long way to encourage DBKL to do better. Please post your thanks in the comment section. Thank you.

Bro Choo Keong,

I know you are Busy attending to Parliament but if you have time please visit the Taman at Medan Idaman. ( next to Lee Rubber School).

The Kindergarten & old school were long demolished but the heap of rubbish had remained.

Looks like a good spot for breeding mosquitoes.

BTW, we really don’t know whether our area is under DBKL or not coz since shifting in the drains were never cleaned.

We do Not expect you to only handle our DIRTY problems but do let us know the list of people we can bark on.

Life is Good & comforting to have Brother Choo Keong in our Neighbor hood!

BTW, when are you shifting in ?

All the Best & May you be Bless Always!

Can we trust the wolves in the hen-house? Or is this a cheap publicity stunt pulled by the wretched DBKL goons to soothe ruffled feathers while they make hay with the hot sun shining behind their arses? Aferall, they know you are getting populist these halcyon days of the PR honeymoon. Whatever, Wee-O boy, you definitely bring them to their jerky knees they who are wont to sit pretty on their arses albeit for far too long during the blighted UMNO/BN years.

We are fair and just, give credit where it’s due. It’s very proactive of DBKL and I applaud their quick action. This is the way public service delivery should be. Thumbs up DBKL!

Dear yB Mr Wee,Sorry for this sidetrack/off-topic: It saddens me after reading that there’s another NS trainee fatality. For a moment, just put ourself in the victim’s immediate family’s shoe and feel the pain , anguish they’re going through – it’s just beyong comprehension…I’m a parent of two young, growing children – I dread the day when they’re called up for NS in the future.yB, could you kindly bring up this matter in Parliament? Thank you.

When they get their job done, they deserve to be commended. After all, just like us, the people at DBKL also need the right dose of motivation. So, big cheers to the hardworking DBKL folks, the responsible residents of Wangsa Maju and last but not least, our Yang Berkhidmat!
