Yg. Bhg. Dato’,

Saya amat berharap pihak Yg. Bhg.

Terima kasih.

Some more question for your consideration:- How much gomen pay to Iris for the mykad thingy and electronic passport. Also why so expensive to replace mykad.- How much gomen pay for TV Pendidikan to be taken over by Astro. Also how much gomen pay to Astro for Bernama to be aired. (If the RTM guys dont give you adequate coverage, then you should cut the RTM budget.)- Talking about Astro, why is satellite dish banned in Peninsular Malaysia? I thought in Sarawak everybody got the big dish oledi. Maybe you should raise in parliament to unban the satelite dish. With “competition” maybe Astro price go down. Also, what the big deal now that we oledi have internet. No need to ban dish unless its only to force us to subscribe to Astro.- What is the total budget to be spent in absorbing all the JKKK. (Maybe with the allowance they receive, they should also get a pair of uniform. Send them to push trolley at Klia or cuci lantai at General Hospital. Then we can send all the banglahome.)- How much gomen pay to Bernie Ecclestone and BMW?

anon 11-04-08 15:10 and lin lianiPlease don’t thank me. It is my pleasure to put right the innate attitude of DBKL, which is only good in collecting assessment rate. DBKL is a failed organisation whose existence was not for the residents in KL but the UMNOputras. Sadly to say, DBKL has a third class mentality in everything except you know what. The word starts with a capital “C”. The Kl residents are suffering and yet the Datuk Bandar KL can sit in his aircon room to enjoy the view of Kuala Lumpur and collect his gaji. As long as the Datuk Bandar KL is not elected by the people, every Datuk Bandar will carry on to do one hting i.e. to please the UMNO president. Now we have the Menteri Undi Pos, who is been appointed the Menteri WP. The Menteri WP is a redundant post and its function overlap that of Datuk Bandar.Kementerian Wilayah Persekutuan is a waste of public fund. Prior to 2004 (when Bodowi just became PM), there was no Kementerian WP and we also faced with the same problems as now. Now with the Kementerian WP we also have the same problems. Don’t you agree that the Kementerian WP should be immediately abolished so that taxpayers monies can be saved and used for other beneficial purposes then to look after UMNOputras. Do you also agree that we should have an elected Datuk Bandar, who will no doubt be susceptible to public opinions and wishes. I am v

Bro Mohamd and anon 16:07After I have responded the earlier comments then I saw yours.Thank you brothers and sisters. Are you all fed up with DBKL? Day in day out, year in year out, we are still talking about rubbish collection and longkang sombat problems. This shows that the Datuk Bandar is sleeping on his job like the PM. Kepimpinan Melalui Tauladan!Anon: 16:07Thank you for your suggestions on the MP Question. I will definitely look at them and pose it when it is suitable.Thank you.

Mr Wee,As we all know, when did DBKL actually performed well? To group them into 3rd class mentality has already been an “honour” to them. As you mentioned in your ceramah, MP’s job is not to check rubbish, clogged drains, pot holes – as this IS THE JOB SCOPE OF DBKL!!!!!!If DBKL is not performing (beside gvg contract to chop down mature trees), they should be sacked! I am elated to see some green/red leaves are sprouting out the botak trees in Wangsa Maju section 2. I hope they will grow fast so that we will the shades again. :)Warning to DBKL: Don’t you dare to come and chop down our trees or trim them in such manner again, else your “head” will be chopped by Wangsa Maju’s residents! If you do not know how to trim a tree, just admit humbly and we will send you to the estate to learn on how to prune trees. Or you can take a trip to Singapore and see how the trees are being take care off.

YB Wee Choo Keong,I would like to bring to your attention to this problem we are facing in Wangsa maju. There are a lot of selfish restaurant owners in Wangsa Maju whom are taking advantage of the parking lots as an area for them to place the tables and chairs. They are practically taking up every inch of space they can find in front of their restaurants to make more profits regardless the trouble and problem they are causing to others. With this, car owners will have problem finding a place to park their cars/vehicles. Thus causing traffic problem due to the double and even triple parked cars. Please help, this is getting out of hand, especially in Section 2 (for eg. look at the new shop lots in front of Metroview, go there at night). Please highlight this problem to DBKL and respective authorities as well.Thank you.

DBKL is just useless. Datuk Bandar is sleeping all the times. He will only wake up when he had to be elected by the people. The only way to improve DBKL is to make the post of Datuk Bandar to be elected by the people of KL. As long as the post is appointed by the BN, the people in KL will have to suffer with DBKL inefficiencies all the times. So we have to vote against the BN then change the law so that Datuk Bandar had to face the people.

DBKL will never improved itself because it is a rotten organisation. It is infested with corruption and corrupt practices. The officers are of 5th class mentality, who are not ashamed of their inefficiencies. If DBKL still refuse to change for the better then all the 10 MPs should organise a mass protest at DBKL building so that the KL residents will tell DBKL that they have had enough of DBKL inefficiencies. YB Wee please screw up Datuk Bandar in Parliament so that he will wake up.

Datuk Bandar and Mentri Undi Pos, both of you are just of no use to the nation. Both of you know how to get your salaries and do not know how to serve the public. Why until this day, the MP had to do the job for DBKL? The fact that MP had to do the job for both of you then both of you should have a bit of self respect and just resign. I know both of you like “gaji buta”. Next elections we must get rid of BN from WP. Both of them don’t even know that the people are fed up with their inefficiencies. No wonder the Badawi is still thinking that the rakyat want him to carry on as PM when in actual fact the whole country want to get rid of him, SIL and his cronies.

YES! YES! Let us go for a peaceful protest infront of DBKL. The KLites must not be afarid to speak out and stand up to be counted. Far too long their arrogance has been the pain in the neck. Somehow, they do not understand what is intelligent communication then let us show them the “physical” communication by organising peaceful protest. We are with you.

HI all,This morning I was on my regular walk to the LRT station. There’s this dump house in front of the stairs towards the LRT near the flat. It has been dirty with flooded trash etc and smelly all these while.. People passing by would certainly feel very uncomfortable of itSurprisingly, when I passed it this morning it seems to be a bit better. The container that holds the rubbish has been cleared and the trash and garbage which was everywhere has been cleared.I guess DBKL has made some effort to clean the place a bit. It looks far better now but could be better if the clanness is maintained for all the garbage tanks & housesI manage to get a picture of it but im not sure wheter it was a good shotTill then!

tsu chong, Mohamad and other WM residentsThank you all for highlighting the rumah smapah issue for me to take it up with DBKL. I am glad to learn from Mohamad that things have improved a little bit since the rumah sampah has been highlighted in the open. Quite honestly, knowing DBKL attitude it will not be long before they back to their “good” old days.whilst I appreciate that we can spend our free time better with our family and friends instead of protesting, at the same I can also appreciate the plight of the KL residents, who have to suffer the bad services and had to constantly live under the unhygienic environment. If Datuk Bandar and his shadow, Zulhasnan, are awoke now and they started to do work properly then we should refrain from physically protesting in front of DBKL.On the other hand, we should always reserve our right to express our disapproval of DBKL in a peaceful protest. This is freedom of expression and assembly. This is our basic rights which must be jealously guarded at all costs.Lets all hope that DBKL has woken up to a new beginning that BN is no longer in control in WP and that Datuk Bandar should learn to listen to the 10 Pakatan Rakyat MPs than one single opposition BN MP, the Menteri, who had to solely rely on undi pos to win.

My friends in Wangsa Melawati tell me that their rubbish is still not collected on a regular basis. May I rephrase this- it’s collected on a regular basis- regular about -3to 4 days. Regular households need daily collection and 3-4 days is too far apart.

DBKL top management semua gaji buta. They know how to get their gaji but do very little for the residents of KL. They are so corrupted like the UMNoputras. So count me if there is is a need to protest against DBKL. I really feel that I am wasting my monies when I paid the rate and assessment. I and my family do not receive good services but headache. We must not only think of getting rid of BN leaders but DBKL top officers too. I am awaiting to express my condemnations for the top officers of DBKL.YB Wee you are so different to the previous MCA MP, who did nothing for us, no interactions, never came to help us and he viewed himself to be part of DBKL. What a lump of shit. Please carry on the way you did, I am certain that Wangsa Maju is for you.Thank you for helping us.

Dear KL ResidentsThank you for your responses. I can predict that the reply from DBKL to my letter will be their standard reply that is “it was contractor problems and DBKL was not aware of.. and DBKL will take the necessary actions.” DBKL officers must take full responsibilities for all the works of their contractors, whether it is Alam Flora or not. Please stop shifting their responsibilities to contractor. The problem with DBKL is top heavy and not people friendly/orientated. It will only spring into actions when there was public outcries! It is hoped that the Pejabat Datuk Bandar will take note of the adverse opinions about DBKL before it is too late like what happened to BN on 8th March. So please Datuk Bandar it will never be too late to make amends. All the Datuk Bandar needs to do is to order all the department heads of DBKL to send out their officers to inspects all its services to ensure that they are all up to mark. Please do not expect the MPs to do their jobs for them. Thank you all for your responses and ideas. They are all very valuable to me.
