On 26-10-2012 Datuk Hj Ibrahim bin Hj Ahmad Badawi, the brother of the former PM (YB Tun Abdullah Badawi) and also the Executive Chairman and majority shareholder of Brahim’s Holding Bhd (Brahim’s Holding) was quoted by the Star to have said: “We want to work with MAS.” For the full Star report read in HERE. Tuan Wee Choo Keong (Wangsa Maju) minta Menteri Kewangan menyatakan apakah sudah menjadi polisi tetap “standing order” di Kementerian untuk semua GLC dan/atau anak-anak syarikat seperti MAS yang berada di bawah kawalan Khazanah Nasional Bhd (Khazanah) apabila melantik firma konsultan atau syarikat-syarikat bagi perkhidmatan projek-projek tertentu, maka perjanjian untuk melantik firma-firma konsultan atau mana-mana syarikat wajib mengadakan klausa “SULIT” atau NON-DISCLOSURE” terhadap fi dan/atau nama firma penasihat dan/atau mana-mana syarikat tidak boleh didedahkan kepada Parlimen (contoh fi konsultan dibayar oleh MAS kepada BinaFikir Sdn. Bhd. untuk projek WAU dengan jumlah wang sebanyak RM200 juta dan nama-nama melibatkan 12 syarikat-syarikat terlibat dengan kerugian RM3.3 bilion “fuel hedging” untuk MAS? (more…)

Tan Sri Azman Mokhtar and his crony Rashdan

Parliament will resume tomorrow 11-2012, it is hoped that Tan Sri Azman Mokhtar (Amok), the MD of Khazanah Nasional Bhd (Khazanah), and his most trusted crony, En Mohammad Rashdan Yusof aka Danny (Rashdan), will do the right thing to tell Parliament what was the actually consultancy fees that BinaFikir Sdn Bhd (BinaFikir) charged MAS for the WAU Project in 2002/2003.   (more…)

The long waited reply from YB Senator Datuk Donald Lim, Deputy Minister of Finance, who has promised yours truly in Parliament that he would provide the answers. It was a NON ANSWER!

Yours truly has been pressing YB Senator Datuk Donald Lim, the Deputy Minister of Finance to fulfill his promise to Parliament that he will provide the information as to how much MAS paid BinaFikir Sdn Bhd for the WAU Project in 2002.   (more…)

Updates @ 10:00 pm on 16-4-2012: From 3 pm to 6 pm today (16-4-2012) Mr Ignatious MC Ong, the MD of Firefly, had a meeting with the Firefly‘s captains, first officers and cabin crews at MAS Academy. Yours truly has been informed that Mr Ignatious M C Ong could match Rashdan’s arrogance.  Could someone from Firefly help with what had transpired  in the meeting so that the readers can be kept informed? Updates @ 11:00 am on 3-4-2012: AJ has just sent out another new organization chart for MAS effective today.   AJ said in the e-mail that the new management chart “will continue to strengthen his foundation to successfully implement the Recovery plans and the Game Changers as contained in the Business Plan”. This is the third management chart for AJ ever since he was appointed MAS Group CEO!  Just wondering, how many more of such chart to come?

Under this new structure,  Amok’s crony Rashdan is still the Deputy Group CEO in charge of  “Group Finance together with Aircraft Finance & Management and also to assist AJ with overseeing all the divisions and subsidiaries”.

AJ & Tan Sri Md Nor Yusof: What about the scandals regarding the upgrading of Rashdan’s maid to First Class that has been highlighted in this blog and in Parliament. Are you going to take actions against the abused of power by Amok’s crony?

By the way AJ, have you read about the scandals involving Caterham where a member of MAS Board of Director was involved in, in HERE.

Updates @ 11:30 pm on 28-3-2012: Parliament ended at about 10:00 pm just now. Will post what YB Datuk Awang Adik, the Deputy Minister of Finance, has replied in Parliament as soon as yours truly got a copy of the Handsard. Of course, he didn’t answer all the pertinent questions raised by several MPs especially “why was there a need for CCF to couple with share swap?” and what yours truly have asked in HERE & HERE during the policy Debate on the Royal Address. How MAS was “WAU-ed” under Tan Sri Md Nor

Updates @ 6:45 pm on 21-3-2012: On 26-3-2012 at 1 pm A few of the members of the top management of MAS are coming to Parliament House to brief the BN Backbenchers Club (BN MPs) on the status of the MAS Business Plan. First and foremost, what Business Plans? It was a plan to import more and more AsiaAsia staff into MAS and to make life difficult for MAS Staff and etc. 

Md Nor and the other cronies should have a Town Hall meeting with the stakeholders i.e. the MAS staff to explain what they have been doing and what PlaneConsult and Mr Shane Nollan have been doing in MAS. They should tell MAS staff how many AirAisa X Sdn Bhd passengers have been lifted by MAS with “ZERO FARE”. 

How much consultancy fees that MAS paid to BinaFikir Sdn Bhd, which was owned by Amok and his crony, Rashdan, at the time of “WAU”? Md Nor should provide details of how MAS sold MAS Catering Sdn Bhd to a company owned by the brother of Tun Abdullah Badawi when he was the PM and MAS Komplek in Sepang was sold to Assets Global Network Sdn Bhd? Md Nor should also provide detail costings of the 25 years agreement and 57 lease agreement? 

It is too late to do damage control now because the MPs are all aware of the nonsense in MAS. Last session there were more than 50 MPs who spoke about this dirty share swap and CCF. There are more MPs speaking against it this time. Yours truly has been informed that Minister of Finance II, YB Datuk Husni was the Minister that help them to organsie this meeting to brief the MPs.

Yours truly would not have written this piece had Tan Sri Md Nor Yusof (Md Nor) didn’t try to be show that he is after all a crony by jumping in to blindly defend Tan Sri Azam Mokhtar (Amok) crony, Rashdan and En Ahmad Jauhari Yahya (AJ) in HERE. (more…)

AJ & Rashdan: “What Cost Cutting?” Part 2 – PlaneConsult

Updates @ 1:30 am on 15-3-2012: PlaneConsult is not the only consultant firm hired by MAS. Ernst & Young is another consultant firm that has been appointed to teach MAS Corporate Division how to do their work. It seemed that AJ and Rashdan, Amok’s crony and ex-business partner in BinaFikir Sdn Bhd, are heavily relying on consultants to do the thinking for them. It has been for some weeks that “two young sweet little” officers from Ernst & Young are in MAS Corporate Division. Quite frankly, it is a case of teaching “grandmothers how to suck eggs”.  MAS had to pay good money as salaries and perks to these two handpicked “corporate gurus” by Tan Sri Azman Mokhtar and yet they needed consultants to think for them. It is laughable.

Under the circumstances, saving MAS is a foregone conclusion! Perhaps it is also a case of “Kepimpinan Melalui Tauladan”. Under Tan Sri Azman Mokhtar leadership, it has became Khazanah’s culture to engage consultant firms to think for them. The Government must account to Parliament what is the total payment made to consultant firms during Tan Sri Azman Mokhtar’s reign In Khazanah from June 2004 until today.     

Updates @ 6:45 pm on 14-3-2012: YB Datuk Nancy, Batang Sadong MP, criticised the MAS – AirAsia share swap and CCF and called for the Government to reverse or cancell the them forthwith as it was not in the interest of the country.  Yours truly believes that there will more MPs calling for the said share swap to be reversed as it was a failure from day one. It is hoped that Tan Sri Azman Mokhtar, MD of Khazanah and the ex-business partner of Rashdan when they were together in BinaFikir Sdn Bhd, will take note. 

Cost cutting to turn around MAS said the TRIO. The TRIO consists of En Ahamd Jauhari Yahya (AJ) Group CEO of MAS, En Mohammed Rashdan Yusof aka Danny (Rashdan), who is Tan Sri Azman
