Tuan Azahari Dahlan, the ex-AirAsia Regional Head of Engineering, and appointed the CEO of MAS Aerospace Engineering (MAE) after the infamous aborted MAS-AirAsia share swap, is said to be the most qualified person in term of “seniority and qualifications” in MAE to hold the post of CEO. Unfortunately, up to this date this Tuan Azahari Dahlan is still keeping very quiet about the possibility of MAE entering into another joint venture with SR Technics or other entities. Updates at at 10:45 am on 8-9-2012On 7-8-20122 MAS has made an announcement to Bursa KL that Datuk Rohana Rozhan of ASTRO has resigned from MAS due to “other work commitments”, in HERE.

En Al-Ishal Ishak, the talented VP for Marketing and Promotion of MAS, has sent out an e-mail stating amongst other things that on 22-5-2012 the Board of Directors has approved the MAS re-banding, new corporate identity and new livery of MAS, in HERE(more…)

Model of the state of the art KLIA2

“When KLIA2 was first proposed, Malaysia Airports (MAHB) said it would cost RM2 billion, a figure that was later revised to RM2.6 billion. Then came news that the terminal would cost RM4 billion, double the original estimate. Now there’s talk that the bill could go as high as RM5 billion. That makes no sense — the low-cost terminal will now cost much more than KLIA. Yes, I asked for a new terminal but one that has simple facilities.
