Tan Sri Mohamed Azman Yahya, who is a director of MAS for many years dated back to the WAU days and also a director of SCOMI and Symphony House Bhd. Why is he not up for re-election?

Updates @ 9:05 pm on 21-6-2012: Tan Sri Wan Azmi binWan Hamzah steps down from MAS Board during the AGM. The other aviation experts like Tan Sri Azman Yahya, Tan Sri Tan Boon Seng of IJM, Dato’ Rohanan binti Rozhan from ASTRO and David Lau Nai Pek are holding on to their directorship even though they could not show what were their contributions for the past TEN MONTHS. Tan Sri Wan Azmi;s said decision should be applauded and a very responsible acts.

One would have thought that Tan Sri Azman Yahya is a very busy man with so many companies to take care of especially SCOMI. The four chose to remain for reasons best known to themselves. Will do another posting soon about those remaining.

Updates @ 12:50 pm on 21-6-2012: The minority shareholders were questioning the competent and integrity of members of the Board of directors of MAS. They have also expressed their discontent with regards to their performance. From 10: 10 am this morning until now, the Board was still facing heavy criticisms from the shareholders. They could not even proceed to pass Resolution 1 to approve the Financial Statement let alone their Re-elections. The Board have been subjected to severe embarrassment. Yours truly has been informed that Tan Sri Azman Mokhtar’s most trusted crony, Rashdan, did not attend the AGM.

Yours truly must apologies for not been able to attend because your truly question on the BinaFikir‘s consultancy fees and the 12 companies involved in the fuel hedging losses for RM3.3 billion for Parliament was No: 4 on the list. It was answered at 10: 30 am this morning. It will be posted here later.

Tan Sri Azman Mokhtar & his most trusted crony, Rashdan aka Danny

Updates @ 4:30 pm on 18-5-2012: Please read “Rafidah gone off her rockers”. If YB Tan Sri  Rafidah Aziz has gone off her rockers then AJ has gone senile to have signed the secret “Supplementary Collaborative Agreement” and two MOUs with AirAsia/AAX almost immediately after the secret share swap was unwound. Until this day AJ could not reveal what were the exact nature of the collaborations. So far, what we have witnessed was a collaboration based on “MAS gives ALL, AirAsia/AirAsia X take ALL”in HERE

The secret MAS-AirAsia share swap has been unwound by YAB PM, YAB Datuk Seri Najib Tun Abdul Razak, on 2-5-2012.

It must follow suit that all the appointments that were made after the said secret share swap must also be terminated because those appointments were made under the ill thought out advice and an undue influence of those irresponsible personalities in Khazanah especially, En Mohammed Rashdan Yusof aka Danny (Rashdan), the Tan Sri Azman Mokhtar (Amok)’s most trusted crony and ex-business partner in BinaFikir Sdn Bhd, in HERE

Are they still smiling now?

Updated on 18-11-2011: YB Datuk Seri Kong Cho Ha, Minister of Transport, said yesterday that the Cabinet had approved the increase in charges in February 2009 and the delay in imposing the new rates had caused the tax payers RM180 millions a year in subsidizing international travelers. There had been a lot of other increases done by the airlines quietly and nobody is making noise, said the Minister in respond to Dr Spinner’s dissatisfaction through the social media. Read HERE for the increases in AirAsia’s hidden charges. The Government should stop entertaining private airlines’ business model just for them to make profits at the expense of tax payers.

Tan Sri Tony Fernandes’ (Tony) contention is that the RM7.oo increase is too much to pay for LCCT which he likens to an “airconditioned horse stable” on Twitter.   The hike also affect travelers and he claimed that it was unjustified and that it would affect his business. He said on Twitter. “…RM25 for services in LCCT? What a rip off! It’s an air-conditioned horse stable!’ He said on his Faebook, “AirAsia has been fighting to make them cheaper for common man. Airport taxes are paid by Malaysians and passengers. The money doesn’t go to AirAsia but MAHB.” (more…)
