Air pollutions caused by haze have reached a dangerous level in several parts of Malaysia and Singapore. The Malaysian Environment Department director general, Puan Halimah Hassan, has declared that air pollutant index showed an unhealthy levels between 101-129 in Malacca and Port Klang. The Department has issued a ban on open burning in several States.
