Kerja “belum lengkap” DBKL!

When DBKL took action to demolish the illegally constructed telco tower in Section 2 that was first highlighted here, there were happiness and praises for DBKL all round. But now the mood of the residents in Wangsa Maju had changed to one of utter disgust and unhappiness.

Meeting between Yg Bhg Datuk Ahmad Fuad bin Ismail, Datuk Bandar Kuala Lumpur, and all the MPs in Wilayah Persekutuan at DBKL on 26th May 2009 from 5.00 to 7.50 pm

69s

At the meeting I brought up the following issues for discussion:

1. DBKL’S Clients Charter (Piagam Pelanggan)

Under the DBKL Clients Charter, all departments in DBKL must reply to all letters and complaints from members of the public within 7 days. Datuk Bandar corrected me and said that under the present “Delivery System” policy all departments must reply letters and complaints within 3 days.

This is a follow-up to my original posting here.

Late today I contacted an officer from Jabatan Awam of DBKL. I have been informed that the “DBKL Task Force” has met and the task force has decided to re-open the junction between Jalan Gombak and Jalan Meranti (toward Lee Rubber Primary School).

Once the consultant has come up with a new drawing, work to open up the said junction will commence soon. Thank you DBKL for taking into consideration the request of the residents.

… until the state assembly is dissolved and for the rakyat in Perak to decide who the rightful MB should be.

I have just received news that the Court of Appeal has allowed Datuk Zambry’s appeal against the High Court’s decision declaring Datuk Nizar as MB for Perak. It is therefore Datuk Zambry’s turn now to be the MB.

As I see it, the impasse in Perak will continue. The ding-dong will never end — unless and until — the decision is rightfully given back to the rakyat of Perak to decide for themselves.

Is it so hard to do?
